Indeed. I just impressed Moore made it out of that drive alive with all his teeth. The TD was good too.

 

Did Henne actually make a sight throw to Hartline? That might be his first.

Stupid pick for sure but some improved footwork as well.

 

Something about Marlon Moore makes me uneasy; he seems to fight the ball with his hands all the time instead of catching naturally.

Now, Roberto Wallace—THERE'S a natural Receiver, even though he's only been playing football a few years.

 

Do we have a QB controversy yet?

 

Well, IMO, the first one was 100% on Fasano and the 2nd one 100% on Henne. YMMV.

 

Odrick looks like a beast.
Wilson is showing some speed.
Wallace is having a solid game.
Benny Sapp wants the nickel job.


O-line terrible play.
Henne still remarkably inconsistent.
I think we may have a QB competition on our hands. And as always, if you have 2 QB's you actually don't have any.
Thomas didn't look special.
Overall, just doesn't look like the coaching staff had the team ready.

 

Yes, nice to know there is an experienced competent backup on the roster.

I think Moore is definatly gone. Wallace is looking much more natural than last season.

Moore- 5/10 67yds 1TD 0INT against 2nd team


Pretty even to me.

 

I'll say this about Thomas: he ran into the brick wall just as hard the 5th time as he did the first.

He's either tough as nails, or dumb as a post.

I thought Henne made some nice plays with his feet. Avoided a sure sack moving up and rolling out before getting rid of the ball. Then took off for a 10 yard run that would have resulted in a punt eliminating the TD drive if he doesn't make it.

Also, good to see he ended well not letting the turnovers get him down.

 

Holy cow. No late hit there huh.

The point being Henne played without the number 1 WR and RB (by depth chart) against the 1st team D and really only had one poor throw on the one INT.

Moore has similar numbers against the second team with his full complement of players and just threw an INT. The point being one uses empty numbers to prove a point rather than context with those numbers.
