if henne was in against those 3rd stringers he would have had a great game too. Matt moore isnt the answer.
I saw the pass to Fasano... it was behind him, however catchable. Had that pass been to Fasano in stride and to the front of him, he would have taken a big hit and possibly had it knocked loose. Had he caught the pass that Henne threw to him, he could have avoided the hit partially and gotten a few extra yards; had he actually caught the ball and not knock it up in the air for the defender to catch it like it was a center field fly ball. If what Padre reported in another thread is true then: The second one was cleared up by Sporano; the WR ran the wrong route.
Wrong route? The Receiver was fine, Henne just didn't see the DB at all and the guy jumped the route. If Henne arcs that ball just a smidge more, the Receiver is the only one in position to make the catch. It was Henne's lack of vision that caused that INT...purely on Henne. And I'm not a Henne-basher, but call it like it is, not some revisionist bull**** an hour or two after it happened on HD television.
You know what, you are right. That refreshed my memory on that one. That was the one were the DB made that great leaping catch. Good vertical on that guy. Perhaps I misquoted Padre on that one and if so, my apologies. I have been reading through a lot of threads quickly without thinking about what I actually watched. That second one was on Henne for misjudging the ability of the DB or not seeing him all together.
Aj Edds and Wilson impressed me greatly on defense. Gates and Wallace impressed me on offense. Henne pissed in his own mouth.
Sparano is the one saying that the receiver ran the wrong route. I remember Henne getting on someone as they walked to the sideline after the play too. On-line feed so I couldn't make out who. Still, what I remember thinking Henne should have seen the DB, which means he should have just ate it, or thrown a different ball, even if the route was wrong. I guess another WR could have pulled the DB in an area that he shouldn't have been. I'll have to check it out on the replay of the game, as I don't remember the specifics. Anyone with the game Tivo'ed rewind it enough to dissect the play?
That right there... that if true, shows that Henne is coming into his own. That is what everyone has been waiting for... well aside from the people that want nothing to do with Henne.

A few more good preseason games and I'll be looking for excuses to buy a Wilson jersey....... perhaps a knockoff Asian version at first before becoming fully invested.
That could be too. Where ever he plays, we are just going to have to find a spot in the lineup for Jimmy BMF Wilson. I've been thinking, Clemons and Jones are our safety duo of the future, but I could see Jimmy BMF challenging one of them for a starting job by next season. (I think this is very likely YBell's last season as a starter in Miami. Youth must be served.) Given the value of a talented 3rd corner though, I could see him as our 3rd behind Davis and Smith. Wilson looks most like Ike Taylor and/or Charles Tillman to me. I don't see the Bob Sanders comparison much at all.
So, are you the amilapeenga of fanhell.com? Nice writeup if so. I know lots of you guys belong to and post regularly on more than one forum. I don't know how you find the time. I don't even work and can barely keep up with just this one.
Wilson certainly impressed. The guy I'd compare him to is Ronde Barber. Similar size, very physical, a nose for the ball, great blitzer, probably more comfortable in a zone than man-to-man. Barber has been a hell of a player over his career and if Wilson turns to to be 80% of the player Barber has been, he's a steal where we got him.
It gives me renewed hope to have seen that. Although Henne is still a huge problem. Hopefully Daboll can mask Henne's weaknesses better than Hnning did last year. Another reason for hope.
TV yes, radio not so much....which one are you talking about ? (I always watch tv but turn it down to listen to the radio guys....sure missed the Mad Dog last night)
Fanhell takes great pride in our poop jokes. And your manhood should be called into question based on your dislike of tiolet humor.
