That's exactly what we need. A OLB that can't play the run and is a pass rush specialist with 0 career sacks....

Sparano yesterday did mention that the biggest thing an offensive line needs is time together. I agree with Pads, if by week three that right side is struggling then he would be worth bringing in for a look. The line is new, shuffled and had 7 practices together without their best piece in place. I wouldn't read too much into their play just yet.

He's probably not an upgrade over Colombo. He had a bad season as well last year and I don't think he had the injury excuse Colombo had.

I wonder though at some point will we actually have people pay attention to what Colombo is doing on the practice and in preseason games rather than running with parody of what they've heard he played like last year.

I have no interest in Stinchcomb, and am not a fan of Colombo. Carey cut his contract to $2.5M, and the last 2 years were voided. This is a contract year for him. IF his knees are in good shape, he is our best RT. If not, although I would prefer a more athletic RG, I hoe he does well, and Murtha is my choice at RT based on what we now have.

I'm looking more towards final cuts to find any upgrades, as opposed to what is now available.

Well, I went through the Atlanta game a 2nd time to focus on Colombo pass blocking, and I did not see his assigned man pressure, hit or sack the QB even once. If he pass blocked that way for 16 games, IMO, we'd have no complaints in that regard, at all.

Could not agree more Boik, $30 bucks for the complete season (used to be $60) has been some of the best money I''ve ever spent on football.

Our OL is the perfect example. Many think the OL has sucked over the last couple of years, and it just is not true. In 09 we ranked #1 in pass protect, and #3 in run blocking. In 10, we were #3 in pass protect, and #13 in run blocking, although with a negative grade. Yet, some would have us #33 in both based on what they think or, what they have heard. Some have even said that anyone who watches football knows better that the nonsense PFF lists.

I don't know many fans who can name a starter or 2 on every team's OL, let alone have watched every team's OL for a game let alone 16. PFF negates the thinking or hearing with facts. For me, that is very welcome.

Is PFF, $30 for the entire league for the season or just for one team? Does that also get you access to all previous seasons?

Every team and player from 08 until now, and the weekly reports every week coming up. They actually give game by game breakdowns on who was covering WR's, and how the WR did vs each one who covered him, to give you an idea.

After "talking" with you for a while, I can guarantee you would love it, although you may not post for a while in reading it. :)

When it was totally free, I read the site often. I just thought the price was much higher now than $30 a year, so had not seriously considered it till now.
