    Any players wanted?
Do you think the Phins will step up and get anyone?

Pryor has all the attention atm I don't know if he is worth a try or not.

If it is a low draft pick.... Sure, why not?

When was Pryor added ? I thought he wasn't allowed as a few days ago at least. Did he get clearance from the NFL to be included ?

I would give him a try for a mid to low round pick. IMO, Ireland should have taken Mallet instead of Thomas and we need to do something to upgrade the position. If I were the GM, my only goal from this point on would be to get ourselves a franchise QB. We have a lot of young talent, now we need to make the next step and the only way we are going to do it is with a top level QB.

    Steve :)

The NFL has found some morality all of a sudden. If true I agree with their decision .Its the wrong message to reward college players who have broken NCAA rules with a lucrative contract.

Let them sit out the year of eligibility IMO.

Thanks for the list Mrclean. So a RB and a couple of DE to look at. As far as Pryor I'm hearing the nfl has given a one day delay in order to help give him time to get his ducks in a row.

Pryor at WR wouldn't be bad in the 5th or 6th round.

I was wondering if Michael McAdoo may be the son of former NBA great Bob McAdoo, who also went to North Carolina, but I do not see anything that says they are related at all, on either Michael's UNC bio page or Bob's wiki page.

if the RB is available 5 or 6, let it ride.

You can never have enough RBs in today's NFL.

I hope Pryor is not found to be eligible, honestly. But Drew Rosenhaus is his agent, and Drew has some pull.

I'd take a flyer on Pryor if he's available. Best case scenario, he looks like he did at Ohio State and we suddenly have some stability at QB (pending on what the NFL does on his suspension) and we have our own Brady. Worst case, he turns out to be mediocre to bad; then it's business as usual and we can look toward the draft for a quarterback or continue with Henne.

As for the NFL's decision, it's kind of a touchy subject. He's prepared to accept a contract worth millions of dollars, and could conceivably be suspended for accepting money. Granted, a suspension is a good idea. If I were the commissioner, I'd do the following:

-Suspend him for at least three games,
-all of his game checks during the suspension go to the charity of his choice,
-and he makes restitution to the league's satisfaction.

Should send a good message to the, for lack of a better word, "bail jumpers" (players who will go pro just to avoid suspension) and make sure his deeds before he left Ohio State are not forgotten by the NFL.

If best case scenario is how he looked at OSU, I want nothing to do with him honestly.

I'd be stunned if we took Pryor; since we've passed on every supplemental draft so far (if my memory serves me).

Seems like our last supplemental draft pick was that DT who Saban made cry by yelling at him.

Tp is not a starting qb in this league. I couldnt stand what he did when came up to the college level. Kid is all about himself and that is not what they need on the roster. His footwork is terrible his release is awful and he is always looking at the blitz editing for his chance to take off. Run first pass second qb's do not with in this league.

We dont need the headache Pryor comes with. Stick with Devlin for 3rd string this year and pickup a qb of future next year.

Yup. Supplemental Draft to be held Monday. Pryor is in (which I don't like) but he's got to serve a 5 game suspension (which I do like). I think they made the right call. I do think Pryor was gaming the system and I do think the NFL has to be really cognizant of precedent.

Anyway I think he's undraftable. Because of the suspension, he can't even practice with his new team until after Week 5 of the NFL season. That will be Week 6 if your team has a bye week prior to Week 5. He's allowed to be in the facilities and he's allowed to work with coaches, but it has to be separate from his teammates. I wouldn't draft the guy and then expect my QB Coach basically to perform two jobs...coaching the QBs and then coaching the other QB.

Actually Ohio State had said he was no longer a part of their program even if he wanted to come back....so he didn't really game the system

I'd use a 6th or 7th based purely on speed, size, and God given athletic ability

It is a 5 game suspension and NO PRACTICE as well. He is pretty much off the field and practice field until week 6. He is pretty much useless for this season.

I was checking into the NFL's web site to see how exactly the Supplemental Draft works and it is pretty much like a blind auction. The Supplemental Draft has been around since 1977, and you basically have to be ineligible to play college ball, or be a high school graduate who has been out of footballfor three years. You don't necessarily have to be a college player as Canadian players and others have been picked in the draft.
The draft order works just like the regular draft with the SB Champion getting the last pick and the team with the worst record getting the first pick. Teams with identical records have their position decided by strength-of-schedule. The supplemental draft lasts seven rounds. I believe there are only around seven players currently available for this year's supplemental draft.
If a team wants a player in the supplemental draft, they submit a "bid" to the Commissioner with the round they would pick that player. If no other team places a bid on that player at an earlier spot, the team is awarded the player and has to give up an equivalent pick in the following year's draft.
If we are focusing on Pryor, I doubt I would give anything better than a 4th rounder. Pryor has great athleticism, but he just may not be able to play the QB position in the NFL. We did use a second rounder in the regular draft to go after Pat White who was a little too small to play in the NFL. Pryor certainly has great size and speed. Hopefully the Dolphins were able to sit down with Pryor and see whether he might be open to playing other positions and just interviewing him like Gruden did for his ESPN special. Pryor seems like a pretty sharp kid, and he actually was able to draw up plays and discuss options with Gruden, unlike Cam Newton, who just called out a play number from a chalkboard. I'd put in a bid for the fourth round and take my chances on Pryor.

I think Pryor would be an intriguing pick if Miami were to use a 6th or 7th to get him. Don't know if he will make it to the 6th round. I wouldn't be surprised to see him go in the 4th or 5th to a team looking to develop him a couple of years (Steelers, Colts, etc...). It would basically be writing him off this year due to the 5 game suspension. But I don't think Miami will be able to find a player of his talent and speed (clocked at 4.36 / 40 today) with their 6th or 7th round pick. I don't see O'Connell or Devlin ever developing beyond a clipboard carrier.

With Pryor's speed it is not out of the realm of possibilities that he could even help this year with Daboll including him in some specialty plays.

I WANT PRYOR ON THIS TEAM!!!!

Alright no one brings this up but I want him on this team as a WR. This guy has some serious talent, But its not as a QB. He is 6'5, Athletic, Fast (reportedly ran a 4.36 at pro day), and strong. He would come in and be really raw but he could also be a 3rd or emergency QB which would allow him to be on the roster and let him better learn the WR position. Could be used like Brad Smith and a threat to pass on a reverse or maybe even in a wildcat formation. I always thought this guy had talent but I just never really thought it was at QB.

Did you guys know that tubby ***** has a Superbowl ring? He was on the 2007 Giants squad. Now he's playing OL/DL for Stockton Lightning of af2.
