Same here DJ, and then some. We were going to go to the game but, thunderstorms and preseason don't mix. GODDAMNIT!!! Oh well, BEER, LOT'S & LOT'S OF BEER. The silver lining of not driving.
Nah, saw the radar, and it looks like we will be hit. There is a chance that we will have some of the game without it but, impossible to say when and how much.
Actually looks like to me that its clearing a bit, or at least less than it was an hour ago.....check out the radar again and look at the loop for the last hour, they seem to be raining themselves out.
The Dolphins should have switched to field turf years ago, as long as they had to have ****ing baseball in the same stadium. FT would allow the infield to be covered seamlessly, you wouldn't even be able to tell there was a diamond there. As it is now, especially on days like today: wet and sloggy, with a high chance of injuries.
You know they're probably going to sod the field for the first two games like last year. So the two pre-season games are the last time we'll see the baseball dirt. Or, baseball mud, most likely tonight.
Here is a screen shot of the radar......looks like we should escape the rain tonight http://www.flickr.com/photos/62506290@N07/6060162783/in/photostream
