No man....the sky is still falling. We missed a 4th down conversion. Fasano had a drop. AND ITS ALREADY THE SECOND WEEK OF PRESEASON 0-16 here we come suck for luck.... Loving the new playcalling!
Uh no..... They are 0-0....just like u and us. And they are a middle of the pack D. But had we been losing tonight....wonder how much crowbar you would have used then.....
The Panthers were 2-14 last year and they went into today starting a college QB who on his best day might be as good a pro QB as Vince Young. Color me unimpressed
Doesn't matter. And not really the point. The offensive scheme and approach are different and improved. Not to mention a few more weapons. They struggled last week and I still liked it. - sent from my EVO 3D -
Bc clearly, Brian Daboll is the DC and the defense is the focus of this thread. A Bills fan with weak reading comprehension skills, color me unsurprised.
Henne looked good. It's preseason against a terrible, terrible football team but who's counting? Props to Chad...the Kool-aid stock will skyrocket this week.
The fact is they had trouble putting points on the board AT ALL last year. So who gives a **** which team their facing. Points are points.
They're undoubtedly improved, and I love the dimension and comfort (for Henne) that Bush brings to the offense. Outside of JL, he'll unequivocally be the MVP of the offense. I'm just warning people that some perspective is needed. If they played last night's Steelers (a real team), then chances are they would be scoreless
Hey Wagoneer... Wonder why the NFL steered Vick away from Buffalo? Oh...and you can tell we love you.... Cuz your about the only non Phins fan that could come in here spouting and get away with it....
wtf do you come here for aside from talkin smack? You're completely off topic in a thread about our OC just so you can make a ridiculous "point". Do us all a favor and return to your bills board with this garbage. This is supposed to be a thread about our new OC, and how different our offense looks. Not the fact that we beat the Panthers. When he got hired, most were pissed that we hired an OC from CLEVELAND as awful as they were, and so far, he's made this offense look like a complete 360 from what Hennings offense was. It's not about beating the panthers, its about the changes in the offensive philosophy as a whole and how it looks. If you had a clue, or gave a crap about the actual point of the thread more than you care about coming here to talk smack, maybe you would have gotten that. Sorry mods, but this stuff is out of control IMO.
Jesus Christ. Keep the thread on topic. I'm deleting half of it now. And keep the damn politics out of this forum. That's not new. And this ain't the Herald.
That same team did manage to beat the Giants last week 20-10. Will it be your turn to brag tommorrow when your team beats that losing team the Broncos of 4/12 last year?
im legitimately excited to see our team go head to head against the bucs next week. This offense, scheme wise, looks like an NFL offense for the first time in years.
I'll wait until regular season before jumping on the Daboll Savior Express, but I've liked what I've seen so far! So the Browns offense sucked last year....it doesn't mean it's Daboll's fault, the Browns ALWAYS suck. I give anyone from the Browns the benefit of the doubt always. The Browns don't have anyone like Marshall, Bess, Bush, Long, Dansby, Wake, etc.
I just noticed CW has been banned and couldn't stop laughing... Kinda mean, but it's funny. Anyway, loved Daboll tonight (last week was solid gameplan wise too). If this is the type of offensive gameplan we can expect week in and out, we'll be in much better shape than I thought we could be. Hopefully, the next two weeks pushes the offense into firing on all cylinders for an awesome upset against NE. Maybe that's asking a lot, but I'm pretty excited after being very "eh" during the off-season.
I do like his offense better. And I DO also want to see it against a better caliber of defense, better defensive co-ordinator on the other side.
