This was a horrible choice, and I will no longer listen to radio for audio for games. Griese and Dan Fauts are the worst people ever given the right to talk, other than amongst friends. Mad Dog has to be turning over in his grave.

Griese will NEVER replace the Mad Dog... That said, only if he's solved his drinking problem will it even half way work.
I really like Dick Stockton. Poor guy. Reminds me of a great QB surround by a pathetic team that ends up making him look bad too. Hard to criticize Griese since he was my childhood hero, but he earned it. Didn't know the Texans were a team...WTF? Alcohol and announcing just don't go well together.
I noticed last night that Griese stayed sober much longer than usual; by the time he started to noticeably falter I was already not paying too much attention. At least he stayed sober long enough to pay a moving tribute to Mandich on Thomas' touchdown a minute before the half. Nat Moore was LIT by about Q3.
Now guys I think Bob deserves a little compassion i always enjoyed him telling storys and stuff . it sure as hell beats listening to the patriots and jets lovers all game long. I really like Brian Griese both as qb and as a announcer.here is who would do a great job in the booth. Sam Madison, Terrell Buckley, Lamar Thomas (for comicial value) Csonka , Zach Thomas , Don Strock and Keith Jackson.
So, they're making the radio commentary suck *** too? I'd rather listen to the sound of steam coming off a fresh turd.
