Which 3 do you really feel has the best chance to put up the most points?

I think the decision is between Johnson with the Lions playing the Jets and Marshall. If it was me, I'd be benching Marshall.

Nicks to me is the only one who would be for sure, the other 3 I would flip a coin but if you put a gun to my head I would bench Marshall only because the lack of TD's.

So....should I start Mia def or Balt def this week? Heart says Mia, head says...well I don't know - it's tight imo. Mia are pencilled in atm since Balt were on their bye last week and originally I only picked up Mia last week as cover for the bye week and intended on shipping them out this week and subbing Balt back in, but part of me thinks Mia could smash home a lot of points this week after stumbling the last couple. What do you guys reckon?

Time to bench Miles Austin. Hate to do it, but he's been killing me with his 1 point outputs

That’s not exactly a bad lineup. Though I don’t know when Sidney changed his name to Sydney.

Rice is practicing, Harvin is a solid option, Ward is usually a lock for 70 yards and a TD, and Knox is the #1 WR in Chicago for whatever that’s worth. Play the matchups. You have options.

How many do you need to start each week? For this week, I'd prioritize them in this order, from the highest priority to the least:

    Harvin
    Ward
    Knox
    Austin
    Rice

So if you need 3, start the first 3 listed above.

Just two and a flex. I usually stash Matt Forte in the flex. Every now and then he goes off for 30

Ok then start the top 2 WRs listed above and keep Forte in the flex position. It's usually a better idea to put a RB in the flex position if the 2 players, with 1 being a RB and 1 being a WR, is close to potentially producing the same. So in this case, I'd give Forte the start over Knox.

Aaron Rodgers or Mike Vick this week?

LOL...never thought I'd have to ask who to start over Aaron Rodgers this season.

    Rodgers @ Vikings
    Vick home vs NYG

That's a rough one Cash. Not sure you go wrong either way.

    TE... Aaron Hernandez or Fasano?

    Hernandez vs Indy
Fasano vs Chi ... even though I am sure most here knew that one. ;)

Hernandez. Gronkowski’s game against the Steelers is an aberration in terms of how the Patriots utilize him. Hernandez gets more targets than Fasano.

Cash, I’d say you have to start Vick.

    well, going all in now.

I'm currently the #3 seed in a 12 team league, top 6 go to the playoffs. Numbers 1 and 2 have been lights out offensively for the whole season, so I had a lot of catching up to do. I was simply the best of the worst up to now.

Just pulled off a Yankee-esque trade. Got Frank Gore for basically my whole bench: Forte, Hines Ward, Flacoo, Keiland Williams, and the Baltimore D. Yes, I know it was expensive, but that was basically the reason I obsessively scanned the waiver during the byes and tweaked the bench. My trade partner basically only had Gore and needed to diversify his roster to make a push at that 6 seed.

So now I'm going with a starting roster headlined by Vick, Gore, Steven Jackson and Ray Rice (in the flex). My receivers are respectable, Percy Harvin and Miles Austin. Anything that rest of them, Anthony Gonzalez, Janikowski, the Oakland D, can give me is a bonus.

An injury to a starter would be devastating, as I don't have much depth. I basically only have guys I stashed in the hope that they heal up or get magically get starts (Sidney Rice, Pierre Thomas, Mike Tolbert). The only viable bench guy is really Johnny Knox.

Harvin and Rice are huge risks for you. If the Vikings don’t beat the Packers this week, then their season is mathematically over and they’ll probably shut both guys down. Pierre Thomas also appears to be out for another 2 weeks, frustratingly enough. (I have Harvin and Thomas too.)

Question... Carson Palmer against Buffalo, or Vince Young against Washington?? I am leaning towards Palmer... esp since my opponent has TO going... So could help devalue him.

Look what Vick just did to the Washington Foreskins...Go Vince Young, imo. But, Palmer is a decent play this week too.

I'm going with Rodgers over Vick this week. Mainly because NYG defense > Vikings defense. Hope I picked right, this doesn't look like a cakewalk this week for me with this team.

Freeman vs SF or Garrard vs the Browns? (Leaning Garrard)
Witten vs Det or Watson vs Jax (witten has been a huge dissappointment)
Steve Johnson vs Cincy, or Mike Thomas vs Browns (again leaning Thomas against weak browns D)

    Injuries have ravaged my team.

Freeman...Mike Williams south is a sure-fire start. I start him over Garrard.

    Witten over Watson.

Mike Thomas with MSW out this week, should see a lot of targets.

I didn't wake up in time to change it, so I had garrard in there, and it was mostly a wash.

Thank god I left Johnson over Mike Thomas in there. Thomas did ok, but Johnson exploded for 31 points.

50 points ahead, but my opponent has Vick, Boss, McCoy and Desean Jackson. I hope it's a low game!

No advice? Did everyone on this board miss the playoffs? Oh well. I grabbed both of them. Cut bait with Addai and Felix Jones. Now the question is, who do I start alongside of Lesean McCoy. Leaning towards Choice as long as long as Barber is still out. Starks has a great matchup against Detroit though if he sees enough carries...

I'd say Choice is the safer play. Here is my dilemma - 2 WR/2 RB/1 WR/RB Flex. For RB I have Steven Jackson (NO), Tashard Choice (PHI), Jonathan Stewart (ATL), Ronnie Brown (NYJ), LaDainian Tomlinson (MIA), Brian Westbrook (SEA). WR I have Steve Johnson (CLE), Hakeem Nicks (MIN), Jacoby Ford (JAX), and Ben Obamanu (SF). If Nicks can play then Johnson and Nicks seem the obvious picks for WR 1-2. Steven Jackson would be my first RB and then I'm not sure. Don't have much faith in Ronnie (prove me wrong please) or Westbrook. We've been good holding down the run so not sure about LT and never started anyone playing Miami, though with Phins vs Jets you never really know what to expect. Stewart has played good, is home, and about the only healthy RB Carolina has I think, but ATL is tough against the run and I'm sure they'll force Clausen to beat them. Ford is off/on but Jacksonville would be a team he could be on against. Just rambling to myself, anyone have an opinion?

Go with Tashard Choice. Starks’ playing time is a gigantic question mark. I also don’t like that McCarthy took him out at the goal line and replaced him with John Kuhn.

I like Starks, and so do the Packers. And they play the Lions...

Choice is the number two in Dallas, behind Felix Jones.

Desides and CashinFist both make valid points. Even though Choice is the #2, Felix Jones has underwhelmed all season, and I expect Choice to get a big workload Sunday night, including the goal line carries that Starks may not get. I might end up regretting not starting Starks, but I could also see getting burned by starting him. Unless Barber gets healthy I'll probably roll with Choice.

I'd probably start Choice along with Jackson. I'd say Stewart, but Atlanta's defense has been stout against the run. You absolutely cannot trust Ronnie Brown over just about any of those guys. For WRs, If Nicks is healthy, Nicks and Johnson and I have no opinion on Ford or Obamanu. Flip a coin.

Two receiver slots, with Bowe, Steve Johnson, and Sydney Rice as choices. Right now I have Bowe and Johnson lined up to start, but Im leaning towards rolling the dice and putting in Rice in Bowes place. The way I see it, Bowe is going against the #1 pass defense with Brodie Croyle at quarterback. Hes also coming off a 0 point week whereas Rice had a big week. In Bowes defense he is the number 1 fantasy receiver in the league, so it is definitely a risk. What do you all think?

    Get off my lawn.
So its that season again for fantasy drafts.... if you got to choose where to draft in a 10 team snake draft, where would you choose this year? I'm in a PPR league, and we are doing things a little different this year where we draw numbers to select draft positions. 1 chooses first slot, 2 chooses their slot, and down then line... so it leaves it up to you where you want to be on the draft order. With this years draft, I was thinking of picking at 5, because I feel that a top tier RB will fall (with Foster, AP, and CJ off the board). I can all but count on someone jumping on the Vick (or maybe even Rodgers) bandwagon ahead of me. And picking middle of the group, I can jump on a sliding player ahead of the top on the list.

But I would love some insight from the group on this one.

I always prefer to be in the middle so that I don't feel like I have to reach on players in case of a position run. So 5 or 6 would be my number and I would target either Charles, Rice, or McCoy there. Then at pick 15 or 16 take either a stud WR or QB(if QBs go early in your draft or if its 6 points for passing TD).

You can't go wrong with either side. Every single player in this deal is considered elite at their position. So really I would go with whatever side you feel better about.

If it helps this is how I break it down: Brady #3 QB, Charles #3 RB, Jennings #6 WR | Brees #2 QB, Foster #5 RB, Austin #7 WR.
