Can any believe that we went 5 wide WRs? TWICE? Whose offense was that? Who was in the Aqua uniforms?

I also got a better look at that swing pass that P Hillis caught so many of. The best example was on the long pass completion to the right side to Fasano.

This pass is ran from the Shotgun with the running back (this time it was D.Thomas) always on the weak side. The running back first job is to look for a blitzing FS, corner or LB. If no one blitzes then the running back runs a wide sweep route.

Last week D Thomas caught one for a little over 20 yards. Tonight he was wide open on the left side of the field and I'm thinking that Henne is going to hit him but then he sees Fasano and hits him now the right side.

I only got to see a online feed of the game so more later after I watch the replay of it.

This offense is insane! I want to see how much damage we can do once we start gameplanning for defenses. Love what I see so far.

sending Fasano deep will work if he can keep catching the balls. and the 4 or 5 wr sets will help keep defenses guessing instead of them stacking the box on every play. so keep it up my dolphins.

Its nice how early preseason plays are indicating we won't be so predictable this year on offense. I'm glad Daboll is ok with creating mismatches and opportunities for our talented playmakers to find success.

I know it will certainly be more entertaining this year.

Yeah, but gameplanned for the starters for only half a game. Also, I'm sure the calls were different than they will be in the regular season. Goal line situations, for example.

I'm not sure what you mean by "game planned". For me "game planned" would mean that we studied their weaknesses and put in plays to attack them. I'm not sure we did that. We did use more than just vanilla plays, but I would guess that had more to do with things they wanted to try than things that Carolina was weak against.

Being able to flex Bush out as a WR in the slot or even the outside is a plus, something we couldn't do with R&R... I like what I see so far, but can't wait to see how it works for real....The thing is, if we can't run the ball up the middle effectively, even 6 wides won't be effective...

Im glad guys like Gates/moore/wallace are going to get out onto the field in meaningful situations. Everyone of them is capable of making a play and with Marshall/Bess/hartline garnering all the attention, they'll have their chances.

Good point but I think there is more Daboll is bringing to the table that I want to see. That just got me hyped for the season to start. Bring on the Patriots!!!

Yeah it was nice to see lots of 3 wide and multiple sets but to me the best thing was to see the Wr's running away from their Qb instead of constantly being thrown to while coming back, or stopping in their tracks all the time.
