No, thank you. Just say no to Tebow as a QB. I am so tired of hearing the guys name. Living in Florida is annoying because of that guy.

    Tebow as a QB? No.

Tebow as a Miami Dolphins football player? Yes!

The kid can play the game and has a heart bigger than most in the game today.

It's even worse with people as Gators fans. All I heard was how the Dolphins should draft Tebow in the first round and he instantly makes us a super bowl contender.

Denver probably wouldn't let go of Tebow for what most teams are willing to give up.

I agree that Tebow is a very hard worker and has great heart but that only gets you so far in the NFL. I don't see Tebow successful at any other position in the NFL....he is either going to progress as a QB and be successful at some point or he wont and will be a bust imo

James Casey is looking pretty good in his new role in Houston's offense. He's blocking well at FB while also being motioned out to flanker or split end where he's a threat in the passing game. I really like what they're doing with him.

I could see Tebow taking on a role like that, but only question is---- how long would the transformation take?

Tebow would probably be an All Pro by now if he went to UF as a linebacker. He plays with too much violence and reckless abandon to not be on the side doing the hitting.

Yeah, I agree. There has to be some position for him. TE. H-Back, RB, Wildcat QB...there are many roles he could help a team, and also be the 3rd string QB for that matter.

I’d wouldn't mind seeing Tebow in an HB/ST role and the 3rd QB just like they used Crash.

The guy’s a big, strong and smart athlete that can take snaps if needed. I’m not prepped to give up more than a 6th for him but you can’t have enough football players on your team. And just for the record - I’m a Noles fan.

I'm not a fan of any Florida college teams, not a hater, just indifferent...so I think I can be objective when it comes to Tebow because there is no emotional investment, nor disdain for his beating my college team either. I think he could be a RB, hand him the ball just like Thomas, an h-Back/move TE, and/or a Wildcat QB, all along with being a reserve QB for the base offense, 3rd string, or even 2nd , since we don't have those silly limitations for usage of the 3rd QB anymore.

The player I sort of compare him to, goes back to before most folks here can remember, that being Dan Reeves. Yes, the former Denver/Giants/Falcons coach. Long before that he was a converted college QB to NFL RB. He left South Carolina as their all time leading passer, but preferred running the ball when he played QB. He was a decent runner for the Cowboys for a few years and a weapon with the HB option pass, that defenses had to respect too. He threw a TD pass in the NFL Championship game against Green Bay, now referred to as the Ice Bowl.

Probably could have been one of the best LBs, TEs, H-Backs, or FBs we've ever seen but he played QB. I don't think it's too late. If I had to take a position though it would be TE.

If he could be had cheap, seems to me the kid has some upside. He didn't look terrible in his limited action last year.

IMHO this is the worst post that I've ever seen from you. Living in Florida is annoying because of him? How? What did he do? Win too much at UF? Have too many people love his enthusiam and leadership? Was that a bother to you?

He lit it up at Florida. He played well in Denver last year when jawless douche bag Kyle "I refuse to talk to Tim Tebow" Orton was BENCHED in lieu of Tebow. The new Denver FO led by John "Mr. Ed" Elway made it known that Orton was going to be replaced by Tebow and actively shopped Orton, couldn't find a buyer, brought Orton back into the fold and then quickly had Orton back as the starter, which was curious to say the least.

That being said, I would trade for Tebow in a heartbeat, draft pick or better yet Merling. All this arm stuff quieted down until these recent events. I will throw footballs with ANYONE on this site to compare distance, velocity and accuracy, the point being I'd love to see who actually knows how to do it and who is just talking a good game. I'm not referring to you specifically here, Alen. The criticism is so overblown it's a bit ridiculous- no one loves the awkward motion, but he gets the job done. Look at the stats last year and some of the throws he made for the Broncos, not to mention the college throws.

I would grab this guy in a second, at at WORST you have a goal line QB, a 3rd and short QB, a wildcat QB . Not a FB, not a TE- seriously, who has any idea if he can catch or block? There are hundreds of guys out there about 6-3, 235- and that's undersized for a TE and he doesn't seem to have the low center of gravity of a FB. But hey, that's a great size for a place kicker and he looks like he has strong legs- why not try him there? BECAUSE I DON'T KNOW IF HE CAN KICK THE FOOTBALL WELL. What is this, Danny Zuko from "Grease" being led sport to sport by the coach Sid Caesar? I think not- all these Tight Ends, all these Fullbacks are big, physical guys with experience at the position. Competition is fierce- real world, big money. Dude is a Quarterback- I'd love to get him, play him at Quarterback and profit from Denver's stupidity. Given the hole that they've put themselves in and their need for DL, maybe Merling and a 6th would to it. I'd pull the trigger on that one any day of the week.

Exactly, this is a talent acquisition business, Tebow appears to have talent, it would then depend on acquisition cost and how much utility he would then offer, with 3 weeks until the season starts or so, what could be installed for him to run that would work?

And even then, that would assume he was acquired quickly, and I doubt that will happen.

he is a football player, so lets say he would come in and be a TE for us, i think there is enough time to get him ready for some packages, he is a smart dude

Not seeing that, if anything he would make a better running back as there is far less to learn.

I'd see him as the #3 Qb who has some packages for him like we had for Pat White, how he performs in those situations would then dictate how much the developmental cost of trying to make him a better Qb is worth. Otherwise the 3 yrs it will take him to learn how to be a Qb in the NFL is not worth it...to us.

And tbh, St Louis is the most obvious place for him to land, Bradford is not going anywhere, McDaniels liked him enough to draft him with a #1, and the Rams need a backup Qb.

Yeah. I think you could use Tebow in a variety of ways. Another guy he might be comparable to for those who remember is our own Jim Crash Jensen.

There were rumors last year the Patriots had a strong interest in Tebow. They also apparently had an interest in Pat White before that. If a creative guy like Belichick thinks he can find a way to utilize these types of talents I respect that. And it makes me question why people would be so automatically closed-minded to the possibilities.
