Remember G Man, any voter may use any reason to vote a player up or down. He won last year coupled with the fact that overall our O-line was dog**** is reason enough for me to vote down Jake at this stage. Even though he's probably in my top 5 for favorite current Dolphin right now.
I know that MB. Hey, please don't take anything I post re; others voting philosophies/strategies the wrong way. This is supposed to be just for fun, and to kill some time until the season starts. So, that's exactly how I'm approaching it. Although, I have to confess...I do have some trouble rationalizing someone not wanting a certain player to win simply because he won it last year. This is pure speculation on my part, but I'm guessing that logic wouldn't have carried much weight back in Marino's day...eh? That said, I respect anyone voting for (and against) any player based on whatever reason the feel is valid. As for my boy Big Jake, I know it's just a matter of time before he is eliminated. I'm just trying to keep him around for as Long as possible. Looks like it's probably gonna come down to Wake vs. Davis, with Bess and/or Marshall having an outside shot. And, I already know what side of that battle I'm gonna be on. And, that's for whoever is going up against Davis. Hope you take that in the spirit it's intended MB.
