    Here's the paragraph on Miami:

Dolphins: BARF. Oh God. It's like staring at a dead deer that's been on the side of the road for a ****ing week. Chad Henne blows. And since he blows, Brandon Marshall will blow, and then Brandon Marshall will hit someone with a brick. Brian Hartline is the No. 2 wideout. Daniel Thomas is the big rookie running back, but Behrens has noted that the Dolphins have gone to great lengths this preseason to get Reggie Bush the ball. So it'll be a platoon backfield on a wretched team. Goody. I'd rather watch a dog die than draft a Miami player.

    Pretty funny!

Haha. Did anyone read the Bills blip? I guess the reality for them is the haters view for all the rest of the teams. They dont even insult the Bills.

    "LIKE LIKE"?

    lol

I never understood why people play fantasy football. I've tried it every year for the past 5 or so and always ended up never looking at my "team" after the draft. It just doesn't seem like any fun.

If you don't look at your team after the draft, it's not going to be any fun. You get out of it what you put in. Best way to pretend to be a GM. Even though some do a pretty good job of that on this board... :shifty:

I actually feel pretty good about the Dolphins from a fantasy perspective. I tend to find that number of targets is a decent predictor of fantasy success for backs and receivers. In their one appearance so far both Marshall and Bush got a high number of targets. Now, I don't think Bush will get many targets in the redzone so that would hurt his value in TD only leagues, but he could be pretty good in PPR leagues. For most QBs, it tends to come down to opportunities and what play makers he has. I also like to see the offense have some rhythm. I find that that preseason rhythm often translates to fantasy numbers during the regular season. Since I think that Henne will get enough opportunities, I like his playmakers and I see some rhythm in the offense, I like his chances as a surprise fantasy performer. I think he'll make a nice #2 or fill-in QB depending on the size of your league. I also am feeling that the Miami D could surprise. I think they have the talent to turn in one of those high turnover and sack seasons. I would hedge my bets on that one though b/c they do face some potentially high scoring offenses.

For me, it's the evaluation. I love looking at a player's talent and projecting how they will produce in a given system. And I always check after the draft b/c that's how I can check if I was right or wrong and then tweak my evaluation process if necessary.

 I have D. Thomas in one of my leagues. Not a starter, though; not until I see what's up first.

He will never amount to anything. He couldn't score on two tries and runs with his pads too high..... yep he is a bum. :wink2:

I had a good draft, but it started at midnight and I had work, so I handed it off to my partner midway through (I had to take a partner because I didn't even know if I would make it back in time).

OMG he killed me. My first four picks, LeSean Mccoy, roddy white, mike wallace, and Ryan Matthews (He demanded that pick, I couldn't stop him). After that it went to crap. Steve Johnson, Tony Gonzales, Tim Hightower (my pick).; That's when I left. I had clear instructions. GET A QB!!!!! All the top tier QBs were gone, so the likes of Eli, Flacco, Cutler, Sanchez, Matt Cassel (I told them to pass on Cassel) on board, he picks ... Roy Williams.

I'm serious. SO our starting QBs are Garrard and Jason campbell. I could strangle someone right now. So I took a flyer on Henne off the scrap heap. I just became Todd Phins. Go Henne!!!!!

14 teams $300 each, not terribly big but not too small. I have another one this weekend that I'm running by myself!

    Ouchies.

I love the first three picks, at least. I think McCoy is poised for a BIG year.

I don't think Henne will cost you as badly as you think.

Brndon Marshall is my #2 WR this year and will pay big dividends for a 6th round pick

    My team rocks:

    Drew Brees
    A Peterson
    M Turner
    (M Ingram- backup)
    D Jackson
    B Marshall
    (Sydney Rice- backup)
    J Graham
    Green Bay defense
