Congrats to the Team you deserve a few more ins this year, but I can not help but think this was a bad win.

Here is why. I honestly think Cam will now be back next year, I think he will also resign Cleo Lemon, and more than likely name him the starter going into next year..

Cleo Lemon is not a franchise QB, Beck may no be as well but were not going to find out this year.. After that TD Cam can not remove Cleo from the starter role this year.

We will not draft a QB this year, and we will win about 6 Games next year with Cleo than decide we need to let Beck or another QB ease into the games for the -09 season.

Congrats Im glad we won one, but im disappointed that Cleo was the man in there.

I am completely anti-Cam, completely! I hope he isn't back next year either...

But we needed this win. The players needed this win. The franchise needed this win.

Your right its a win and Im happy about that, but does that erase the entire slate for Lemon or Cam? Does that erase the clock management issues the bone headed play calling? Sorry Im really mad that Im even upset about this win...

I should be happy as a clam, but I feel it will leave a crack that Wayne will slide through and were about to make another mistake.

Congrats to the Fins for a win.

I think that Cleo will start against the Pats and Beck will start in the last game. Cleo had a nice second half in this game but looked bad in the first. Whats a shame is it took Cam 13 games to open the play book and the O line was finally blocking today.

I dont think this wipes the slate clean for Cleo. Remember he has to play NE next week which is going to be ugly and will make everyone forget about the Baltimore game.

THis was a good win for the Dolphins because:

Now we won't be known as the only 0-16 team in NFL history and..

Cameron will get at least one more year to continue his rebuilding processs.

    Good day IMO.

Cameron was very likely coming back next year anyway. This is not a bad thing.

Cleo had a good chance of coming back next year regardless due to his performances this and last year. Not too many teams are in the market for a backup QB who consistently underthrows his receivers and will make a bad decision at the worst possible time.

Beck will almost certainly be the starter next year, not Cleo. I don't know why you think Cleo has secured a starting spot in 2009.

And we weren't drafting a QB anyway. Mueller and Cameron believe Beck is the guy. They aren't going to take another QB.

No, it doesn't erase anything. Let's face it, whatever was/is going to happen to either of those two was/is going to happen anyway regardless of one win. Don't be upset, this is an extremely rare event for us Phins fans this season....enjoy it.....don't analyze it.

No disrespect but I completely disagree. I still think we draft a QB, and many people will lose their jobs and starting roles. All this win does is keep us out of the record books and vindicate Cam as a coach.

Cam is stockpiling picks for a reason, he's not happy with the personnel.

why is changing coaches and not giving Lemon an chance to compete a good thing, we have not had the same QB two years in a row for five years, look at garrad with jax, he got a chance and they are a good team, can we have patience for one time in our lives

Bad Win? Are you out of your mind?!?!?

ANY win at this point is a good one. Who gets fired, who got injured, who's selling or buying the team, how many draft picks are we gonna get for Jason Taylor... we can sweep all that crap under the rug today. We can finally enjoy a victory. Us Phin fans have had this victory coming. It's been the most difficult season I've ever had to endure as a Dolphin fan, so, personally, I'm going to enjoy it.

Tomorrow, we can get back to hiring, firing and trades. Until then... PHINS WIN!! PHINS WIN!! PHINS WIN!! PHINS WIN!! PHINS WIN!! PHINS WIN!!

The Chargers went 12-4 in 2003... The next year, the team went 4-12, with Drew Brees at the helm... and with a runningback named LT... They opened the QB position up in the pre-season in 2004 and Brees won the starting job... The Chargers went 14-2 that year with Brees almost securing MVP status...

Too many people look at the current state... Not many EVER consider what the future may hold because they want to see what "YOU CAN DO FOR ME NOW"!!!

We have to get beyond this!

Your first win of the year can never be a bad win, ugly yes but bad no way in hell, not today, not tomorrow, not 10 years from now, a win is a win and let the cards fall where they may.

Look, this win is HUGE. Let us enjoy it. I'll even put a good spin on it for you. This means Cam gets 08, but if he tanks it again, then the Phins need a new coach for 09... Just when Cowher is ready to return to the NFL.

Remember, he already told Atlanta he was taking 08 off.

No way Lemon is the starter in 08 BTW. He is a #2 at best, but I wouldn't mind getting a project QB in the draft, and another #2 QB to take the job from Cleo.

This is a perfect example of what's wrong with the fan base.

I'm not trying to make a personal attack, but man, how can you let your personal opinion/agenda relating to Cam Cameron, etc...get in the way of the joy you should be feeling right now?

Did you ever stop to think for even one second, that you could be wrong about Cameron? That he could end up being a solid NFL coach? Did you ever stop to think that your assumptions could be false? That Lemon will not be the starter next year, that we will draft a qb, etc...?

Man, I'm just blown away that fans could allow themselves to get this warped by their own opinions and perspectives.

    inching to 100k posts

Cleo Lemon gave Cam something he hasn't had all season, a QB who can make positive plays and didn't turn the ball over, Lemon was the first QB who got to utilize all of our weapons and not get killed in the process or force turnovers.

This is our first 300 yd passing day in a win in how long?

Any win is a good win. This team needed it. Now they can have more confidence going into NE. NE can lose the rest of the season and still hold home field advantage in the playoffs. Next week is a dangerous game for NE. They have to be careful not to look ahead.

Cam should come back next year anyways. He deserves a chance to finish the rebuild him and Mueller started. A rebuild that was needed when we hired Saban.

As far as Lemon, start him the rest of the year. Sign him to a 2-3 year contract and see what training camp brings. Let Beck take time to develop. We don't need to draft a QB high, just for 3rd string.

New England will NEVER overlook the Dolphins . . . regardless of the records.

If Miami gets a similar pass rush on New England like they did today, they can make it interesting . . . and it wont be because of New England overlooking them because they wanna go undefeated.

Also I agree w/ not getting a qb with a high first round pick . . . but if value is there, u may have to jump on it. For example if Colt Brennan has a first round grade, but can be had with a mid second round pick . . . u probably have to do that . . . talent at QB is never a bad thing for this team.

I felt Daune should have stayed for comp, and I feel the same way about Cleo . . . face it, us keeping Cleo is possibly the reason why we wont go down in history as the worst team in NFL history . . . THANK GOD
