Looking at this final 5 I really have to say I think we have all done a great job of whittling the list down to the RIGHT final 5. Chad Henne - Yeah he had a lousy 2010 campaign, but has somehow managed to hang onto the starting job and looks much improved. No other player on the list is more crucial to the Dolphins success this year. Davone Bess - UDFA who has become one of the best slot receivers in the game. Mr. reliable. A fan favorite. Might not be the biggest star on the team, but always there when you need a crucial 3rd down. Reminiscent of O.J. McDuffie. Brandon Marshall - The Beast. Probably the most talented player on our roster. Does jaw dropping things after he catches that football. Vontae Davis - My horse in this contest until he's gone. Hasn't hit his ceiling yet, and already last year was playing at an extremely high level. Approaching shut down corner status. Not quite there...YET. Cam Wake - One of the league's most ferocious pass rushers last year. 14 sacks. A force to be reckoned with. Will he drop off this season as teams become painfully aware of his presence? Or has he only yet to reach his potential? You can make a strong argument for anyone of these guys. Why am I sticking with Vontae? Because I think his upside is Darelle Revis good. I think he'll be the most dynamic force on a very good defense. And I think he hasn't even come close to reaching his full potential. There will be games this year where we don't hear his name called once. Because he won't get thrown at.

The only problem I have with VD, is he gets beat on some balls because much like Smith (he does it more) he doesn't get his head around in time...I think he will learn to do that more, because he is better at it now than he was when he first came into the league...
