Moore, the second-year receiver who a season ago earned a roster spot as an undrafted rookie, sat patiently through the inquisition. As it turned out, the line of questioning – and any stress Moore might or might not have placed on himself – was unnecessary. Moore made the Dolphins' final 53 and made it without much debate, coach Tony Sparano said. "As of the last couple weeks it really wasn't that tough of a decision," Sparano said earlier this week. http://www.sun-sentinel.com/sports/...moore-0907-20110906,0,2041558.story?track=rss
Just picturing it now...Marshall, Bess, Bush out of the backfield, Gates, and Hartline lining up against the Pats D first play of the game. Their shaky backfield won't know what hit them when one of them springs open for a HUGE gain or a TD to the house as we start the season off with a BANG! Hey, a guy can dream, no?
Do you think we could see some no-huddle stuff as part of the base offense? I was just thinking that Marshall and Wallace are big dudes that can block. If they were to line up some combination of 1 of the bigs with any 2 of Bess, Hartline, Moore or Gates at WR with both Bush and Thomas in the backfield at the same time, there would seem to be some serious matchup problems for an opposing D that doesn't have time to change personnel without a TO.
Yes I do, recall what owner Ross said at the end of last season? Something about the no huddle hurry up taking advantage of the heat in Miami.
Wallace and Marshall are borderline tight ends (size wise). Once they start owning CB's on the block, look for some wink, wink audibles from Henne for the quick screens, pitch outs, sweeps, etc. Check down Chad will become a dump-off demigod...
Somehow, he dumped-off his way to having the 4th most passing passing yards in the preseason in his 3 games. It took Moore an extra game to finish up at 5th. http://www.nfl.com/stats/player I want to believe too.
