He missed practise again today , missed last game , and quite a percentage of practises . Haven't noticed if it has been reported what is wrong , but if he misses anymore he has to be doubtful at least for the opener? Wonder what the over/under is for pass attempts for Miami , and for both teams Monday?

The fins are looking into adding different pieces. A friend of mine's husband, Jeff Dugan was just cut from the Vikings last Saturday and he is in Miami today (came in last night) talking with the team. He is not a star and definitely a blue collar player, but he is a good run blocker and can catch the ball consistently. Chester Taylor credited his big year with the Vikes a couple years back with Jeff's blocking and AP took him and Lisa to the Pro Bowl in 2009 as a thanks for his role in his year. I have always told him I wanted him on the Dolphins so I could cheer him on, and I might get the chance. He said that the FO are concerned with their blocking and are looking to add to that, however he also did say that the team said they will not be adding anyone until after the 1st game so they are not on the hook for the entire salary.
No probs, I figured that would be the case too. Lisa was pissed but Jeff said it was business I thought it was interesting as the mood around their (Jeff and Lisa's house) was like a draft day last Friday/Saturday, a lot of tension and waiting around as they were expecting him to be cut but really hoping he wasn't. They don't like Spielman at all, and I broke the ice when I txt'd them we didn't like him much in Miami either.

Unfortunately for Jeff, I think we were just kicking the tires. I didn't hear if we had others in to the facility, I am supposed to hear about the trip today, so we will see. If he came in at the veteran's minimum he could add some value. He knows his role and does it well.
