lol Nothing about the situation is really a good thing. But like I said, why not? Could it really get any worse?
Maybe he can be eased in and do some of the things Nate Jones did. Namely blitz the **** out of guys.
Whom they recently worked about BTW. I like Wilson, but like Carroll more, think he does more things and usually is a better Cb then he showed last night
carroll was clueless on where to even line up last night. I understand he is a second year guy but Jesus man I'm with slick on this one. I'm not sure it gets much worse than what we witnessed.
I remember SS24 shaking his head as he pointed Carroll to go across the formation cause he was in the wrong spot. Maybe its the FS fault for not communicating effectively?
Why the heck didn't they play him last night, he couldn't have looked any worse than the rest of the bunch.
If one recalls, SS and VD both played strictly on one side of the formation until this season, did so for 2 yrs./
Carroll, to me, showed he had no balls last night. Brady didn't just pick on him, he practically assaulted him. Everybody knew where brady was gonna go whenever Carroll was in man coverage and he didn't break up a single pass. I feel like if its that obvious the QB is gonna go your way on multiple occasions you have to man up and make a play or hes just gonna keep coming. Carroll didn't, and Brady did just that. Now this wilson kid might make mistakes but I don't see him as the kind of player to just sit back and let the train run him over like Carroll did.
We worked out Nate recently? Then, I'd say he is the man we better sign. Sapp as nickel in 2010 was a step down from Jones as nickel in 2009. He isn't old, still under 30. Gotta be a better solution for this year than anyone else we have to play there now.
Carrol better put his big boy pants on because when other opponents watch the Patriots film you know they will single out Carrol. He really looked lost out there last night and made himself a logical target.
really after 1 game ??? jimmy wilson is not what we want at corner, he could be a good S maybe, but i don´t see it at CB
That was a throrough arse whipping last night though Padre. I don't think you can go wrong with at least reevaluating whether Wilson can do better or not.
I think the general consensus was that with the injury issues he had he's just not fully come back and may never do so. At this point though I'd bring him in.
When did he play again? As a safety Wilson would be a nice option. I don't think he gets washed out in the run game and he gives you the kind of coverage over the top you need.
