He grabbed it before he hit the ground last night. Any word on how he is doing? I tthought he might be faking it to stop the clock, but haven't heard anything since.
I think he's fine..just cramps.. Dolphins trainers need to keep a barrel of pickle juice a bucket of midol on the sidelines for these guys.
I watched the game at a bar and the announcers couldn't be heard. Seemed odd that he would grab his knee over fatigue or cramps though...
He grabbed his knee right at the kneecap before he even went down. That has me concerned. He didn't grab his hamstring or quad, it was the knee.
I looked like cramps. I don't think that knee ever hit the ground. His left knee hit, but he reached for his right leg. I saw it go stiff before he hit the ground so I think it was cramps and he was actually reaching for his thigh.
Yeah cramps were hitting them all hard. Which was pretty embarrassing considering the New England players weren't even breaking a sweat...
well you see if you somehow watch the game again, that when he gets up, sparano is also standing on the field and marshall and him have a kind of high five, that to me was enough to think he is alright
Funny how we were the ones gassed last night. Being at home and all. I don't know why, but I get the feeling we've gone soft ever since that bubble went up. Do we still practice in there a lot? I know this year with the lockout and all it was a short preseason. But even in previous years I feel we've lost our early season summer edge.
He took a weird step on that leg and as he went down, he grabbed his knee. It wasn't cramps, it was his knee. I do think he is okay by the "fist to fist" that he and TS had.
That goddamn thing was born of Nick Saban's paranoia and it's been nothing but a detriment. It's where the Ted Ginn pick was announced; that alone should qualify it for demolition.
It was not cramps...they checked his ACL out...initial eval revealed no structural damage, they were waiting to see what the knee did over night before deciding on a plan of action
Still worried about that one. His leg hit the ground extended and it buckled. Seen many an injury from one of those situations. Hopefully he'll be fine
It was pathetic actually. Even the announcers were commenting on how it was clear that the Pats were more prepared physically for the S. FL. heat than the Phins were. Sparano is supposed to be this guy that believes in tough/physical football.........
If you are TIRED and you train in these conditions all year long, then there is something inherently wrong in your conditioning. You are playing at home. How the **** are you not ready to play Game 1 AT NIGHT in South Florida when, you know, you are a South Florida team? If anyone has a good explanation for me on this, I'd love to hear it. And DO NOT say it was the lockout, the starters are used to this ****ing weather.
This. To all the people claiming cramps, re-watch the play. It almost looked like he jammed his knee on a plant and immediately grabbed it as he was going down. Could have been a fake, but I tend to believe he tweaked something. Hopefully he is all good.
