I hate to say it, but Belichick showed us what a great coach is capable of

I dont understand where some of you get off attempting to hold another member accountable for their opinions when its simply against the Terms of Service to call out other members. I think its time we make that abundantly clear since infractions seem to not deter these types of personal attacks bans will be given to repeat offenders.

This is a message board. People have opinions. And yes we have all be wrong about an opinion before. That does not give anyone the right to go calling out or implying that another member should in essence kiss your feet. Personally, I have backed Henne throughout this process but if you cant see why others had their doubts then clearly you missed last season.

Also, threads with bets in them were deleted for a reason. Take that crap and post it on some other board. Stalking and going after other members is not allowed. If you cannot understand the words I am typing there are other ways I can make it clearer for some of you and no I am not talking about a braille computer or cutting out the letters from construction paper to spell the words for you. If the board has to have less members to make it friendlier and less obnoxious then threads like this show it to be, then I have no problem with that. I cant make it any clearer.

You are right I just thought it would be interesting to see if people were willing to back up their opinions.....

It was a wasted and bad idea and I apologize to all the honorable board members who were forced to ignore such a pathetic attempt and especially those that could not . It will not happen again...........

    Go Fins....................

Not just better, significantly by a large margin. Brady is the best. I'm still not sure who's the second best QB in the division yet.

You know I just listened to Sparano's PC with the Finsiders last night. BTW, how the heck do you view post game and daily PC's from Sparano on miamidolphins.com? Are they limiting videos now?

Anyways, Sparano was asked if the Patriots threw a different look at them which they were unprepared for. Sparano said, "No." He said and I'm paraphrasing here, that they saw the same looks they prepared for and were expecting the no huddle offense and most of the pattern combinations were the same ones they ran, so they were dually prepared. He was then asked if it was a case of what they were doing compared to mistakes the Dolphins were making and he said both. He said there were some mental errors & blown coverages, but at times the Patriots just made tremendous plays. He referenced the big throw to Hernandez down the sideline and the perfect throw to Welker in the seam.

I really believe Tony Sparano gets a bad rap for fans in his preparation of the team. Does he prepare them to the exact minutiae of Bill Belichick? I'm not going to say he does. However, I don't think the gap in the franchises or the coaches is in game preparation. I believe Tony works hard and works hard to prepare his team.

I think where he struggles and where the rest of the coaching staff struggles at, and alen1 has eluded to this multiples times, is just coaching players. CK, had a nice long post about how Belichick is great at franchise management and the coaches coming off that tree have struggled there, but the coaching aspect of their respective "fortes" hasn't been an issue. I think the hiring of Daboll has already shown that players have looked much sound on the offensive side of the ball in particularly Chad Henne. They seem much more capable of getting the ball down the field.

Bill Belichick didn't show what a great coach he was IMO. He showed that in 2008 when in Tom Brady's absence the team went 11-5. He's showed it recently when the talent on defense really hasn't been very good, yet they manage to win. He is willing to listen to new ideas and change. Tony Sparano did that same thing this year. So, I don't think the difference is in that or preparation.

Belichick is a great teacher and he finds people that work perfectly with him, his team, and his system.

That's exactly what I'm talking about. I think it will be interesting to watch that Belichick show just to see how much the man knows and how predictable he finds us.

there is one thing everyone is overlooking that make them a much better franchize and that is they manage to have more draft picks and are sometimes in better draft position then Miami but I am going to just hope that things start changing soon where we can be the top dog in our division. Remember that they wont stay on top every year it will be our time soon.

When BB finally decides to call it a day, IMO, he will go down as the best ever.
