this team is a bunch of punanies. soft isnt teh word. NOONE had a good game, NOONE. Henne had moments, but then threw a few bad passes the oline blew. Soliai why is he worth a l/t contract? Marshall elite? nope. we are in trouble. Sparano should have been fired and I like Sparano

This just completely sucks....now we have to start all over again, go through this whole 4 more years of building. A few more years of "we just need to give the QB time to develop." Not that this is working, I just hate that we are going to have to blow it up again and start from scratch. Fans are gone, you rebuild its going to get worse. This franchise is in a dark dark place.

Sparano should be IMO. Poor game management, team never prepared, constantly shooting ourselves in the foot, its got to change. We have talent all over the place, we just cant execute. That's on the coaches.

At least we should look at the positives. We only have to compete with Kansas and Indi in the suck for Luck Sweepstakes. Hey, I'd settle for Kellen Moore. I not a Henne basher, and to be fair to him, he didn't get a lot of help from his lineman, but you just never sense that when push comes to shove he will get it done. When you look at Rivers or Brady, you just know they will take it to the next level somehow. That has a knock on effect for everyone else on the team. I just don't sense that with Henne.

Sorry but Henne played well today. Put the ball in the endzone on a perfect throw and Marshall dropped it. Henne's #'s today don't show the whole story. Our WR's dropped passes and he was pressured the whole game

Until there is competency at the positions of General Manager, Head Coach, and Quarterback, Stephen Ross can expect his stadium to be filled less than it was today. He was on the right track with Harbaugh last January; he just couldn't finish. Maybe he'll get it right the second time around.

we'll talk a bunch about trading for a high profile figure and then not pull the trigger. OR we'll give up a whole mess of picks for some mediocre backup

Easy , he will want control and I think that would be just another poor decision that gets this franchise no closer to the Super Bowl than we have been.
I can see Ross making that decision to hire him ,though imo it would just be another wrong decision that eats up years and doesn't produce.

Shame how Thomas' fumble changed the game. No idea why they stopped going to him after that. He and the line were working the Texans over up the middle. Plus I thought they should have used a few more play action deep passes.

Keep your head up DT, you looked very good out there.

About half those INC are drops. O-Line sucked!! WR's sucked!! Play calling wasn't nearly as good today. Can't run Bush like Thomas, if you going to run it up the middle put Thomas in.

I wonder why they didn't use Bush more in the passing game or gave him some more outside running plays (pitch & stretch plays) Looks like they gave up on him after 1 game already! :pity:

Nick Saban would have kicked *** with this team. Caroll is terrible, absolutely terrible. Colombo is terrible as we said he would be for weeks on end. Carey is terrible as we said he would be. The defense has not practiced tackling, it's very clear. Sparano you have failed.

    Fortunate things:

    - Henne outside of some drops and a few poor throws (happens he was getting hit non-stop) was fine, not good but ok
    - Thomas is our RB, Bush is fine as the third-down guy
    - Long came back after struggling, he'll be fine with time
    - Incognito and Pouncey can really run block, I mean Miami killed them up the middle
    - Fasano is fine
    - the WRs had drops and we could use a new #2

There are good players on that defense.

Thats easy? Sorry but having a proven Head Coach should be the easy decision.

He wants to bring in his own GM btw...

We're lucky we kept trusnick instead of edds. Another holding penalty is much more useful than a Guy that can back up dansby

Last week Henne played well enough to win against most teams, this week, he did not... again this is from a Henne supporter. But telling it like it is.

Nope..he didn't play well enough. Also, the protection sucked...Marshall dropped a sure TD, and Carpenter pissed down his leg for 2 gimme field goals...and Reshard Jones blew his deep help assignment...AGAIN..Gibril Wilson pt. 2

Well, BM drops a TD, we miss 2 FG's, and gave up ST yds we should not have, and once again, short yds and we whiff on the opportunity.

If VD is out, we had all best hope that Will Allen is 100% as NC is overmatched.

You can't possibly blame Henne for the horrible pass protection and Marshall dropping a SIMPLE TD catch.

I thought he did play well enough to win, he had one bad series down the red zone, otherwise he did well enough.

    2 missed FG's as well.

The turnover inside our own 10 yd line was a killer, that is 20 pts we gave away....cannot have that and beat a team like the Texans.

I thought Henne played well enough, a workman like performance. A dropped TD in the end zone. Missed field goals. Too many penalties on special teams. The missed tackling. Zero penetration from the D-line, what happened to these guys?

I don't think Henne was the main problem, but he wasn't any solution, either. This was a team loss.

You are right , it isn't good enough.

However there are many other areas that were/are worse .... if you grade him just on those numbers , that is a mistake imo.

QB isn't the priority GM and coach are , imo.

Henne had a fine game...the one throw in the EZ was poor. But keep in mind...no OTA's...completely new offense...and our O has looked better then it has since Marino...now. Itll only get better

Well, stakes go up for the Browns game, that is a fact, 0-3 with everyone else in the AFCE 2-0, lose that one, and another AFC game, we are sunk like we were last season, we could go 10-6 and it won't matter.

You may get your wish , I can see Ross making that choice. However just like Parcells was a "winner" it doesn't mean you will continue to be . I have heard Cowher wants control ,whether that is bringing in his guy or being the actual GM , it pretty much is the same thing.

I see it as making another move that won't ultimately mean a Super Bowl win , and to me if that is the case , it is the wrong choice.

Would he be better than Sparano? sure ... but that isn't the debate , but like I said , you may indeed get your wish .

it doesn't matter, at this rate we are going to be in primo position to draft a top qb with a top 5 pick. we'd better do the right thing.

    well well well

little by little things are becoming clearer. But lets be positive the Fins are playing another mediocre team next week Clev. and it's not at home too so maybe we get a win wuppie.

I hate to say it but much like the last couple years this team is trying to contend for the mediocre bowl and I'm not even sure they are there............FO are just being schooled by other talented FO......4th and 1 on the what 20 and we waste a time out.....really wasn't a waste the fork was already in us and we were done........truly sad
