I guess Tony Sparano went to hell again this week.

Start 0 and 2 and what is it , 88% of teams don't make the playoffs , pair that with all of your division being 2 and 0 , we are like Tiger Williams used to say " done like dinner".

Not to be overly negative , we just are , so what is clear? it is clear Sparano is not going to be a successful head coach , and almost as assuredly Ireland is in over his head too.

I want Henne to be given ALL the support he deserves , he may be the answer at QB , he certainly isn't the main reason this team isn't going anywhere this season.

Get rid of dead weight , Ross won't be happy as fans will stay away , but they have gotten what they deserve imo.

You're arguing about a relative term.... You might think "fine" means good while someone else thinks "fine" means OK.

From what I have seen so far and it is early , there is no sure 2nd QB in the draft , not one that makes me think that is a priority over the myriad of other needs. Henne has a full year , barring injury to show everyone , I like what I have seen to be honest , and see significantly weaker players/positions than him to be direct.

If when we draft there is a big time QB there , take him , having talent at QB is never bad. He won't start probably and I see no reason to write Henne off.

S , CB , Pass Rusher , 2 Olineman , are blatant areas of need as I see it.

CB isn't a huge need. They need a NFL caliber 4th CB. At least make it tough for Andre. FS with Clemons isn't a need. We have Nate Garner who should be starting. Ryan Cook is a decent guard. As far as a pass rusher I agree.

That's not that many talent needs.

Fire sale...everyones gotta go. There's too much talent on this team. Too much talent squandered, too much unrecognized. Too much passed on. I don't care. Put Nolan in as head coach, give Daboll a bigger role. Sparanos gotta go, and Ireland's gotta go.

I never seen such a nothing game. Houston played mediocre at best. All they had to do was field 11 guys.

What a limp, flaccid performance. There has never been a weaker home field advantage in pro sports.

Padre and I are done with these threads...and most importantly, Dolphin Brass has to go.

Ross, with all your shenanigans, and limited partners, coaching fiascos and horse-****...You gotta go. Whats next? Hand the team over to a rusty Carl Peterson? Ross, if you can't handle being an owner, you gotta go too man. Sell to someone who can get it done.

Who is taking over the thread next week?

Put me in the game coach!!! It's about time this team got younger. Give the reigns to a guy who never watched Marino play. I have no longing for the old days. Cutting edge. Our OC is only 2 times my age so I think we need some youth.

I was thinking about Cowher today and how everyone probably has him on the top of their list.....Sure he'd be light years ahead of Sparano but personally I hate to see another heavy run oriented coach and I think that that would be Cowhers preference and it may not fit any more in todays NFL and I certainly would rather not sit through it again even though I'm sure it would be much improved.........

There's actually a decent balance of run and pass under Daboll. He really milked the running game up the middle well. He focuses on Marshall, tries to get Fasano involved, brought in a little innovation with that double TE-Mastrud run game. Light years apart from Henning. Results though haven't shown.

The problem is, no decent coach will accept the job until sparano is fired. No likes of gruden or cower will come here while its another man's job.

All that can happen is for sparano to get axed, and then the reigns get passed to Nolan.

They need a CB , IF VD and SS are quality starters and that isn't an absolute as I see it , they have promise but haven't been consistent and haven't created turnovers and I both want and expect that from quality starting CB's , they have no legitimate third corner and to me that is equivalent to a starting position. I don't think we have a bonafide starting safety , free or Strong . This is a passing league and right now we don't have enough talent on the back end imo.

Ryan Cook and Garner haven't proven anything , they may , but they have had their chances and haven't emphatically stepped up . We had to add Garner as 6th Olineman , that is pretty telling isn't it?

We have talent to be sure , but we still have too far to go to think we are there.

Unfortunately after 2 games we pretty much are in next year territory ... again. I don't like harping on it , I don't , but we need to make this right , and that means new coach and new GM , as I see it.

I see it the same way.

When Pittsburgh made the change they also went away from Cowher ball so to speak. Not to say he wouldn't adapt , but I have my doubts . I want someone already ahead of the crowd , not one who may catch up .

Would he be better than Sparano , absolutely , that isn't the issue. I noticed today Fat Bill saying that his old antiquated must list for QB's might be out of date , now he didn't say it like that , but as much as a stubborn guy can , he did . I don't want a replay. I also think Henne has a real , legitimate chance if surrounded by what he should expect to be very successful.

I've lost all respect for Parcells and don't give a damn of what he thinks. Also don't have a clue about a coach just know I don't want Cowher, maybe Jeff Fisher...I'd like someone with NFL HC experience....
IMO I don't think Henne is good as a starter but he has shown improvement & I could be wrong and we have a bunch of meaningless games this year to see......

You did the right thing , and my condolences to you and your family .

I have often wondered why I am and have for decades been so emotionally involved with this team. It is ingrained and that won't changed , but it can be taxing. I think it is fair to be critical , to cheer and hope , but also to be realistic. When changes need to be made , saying so , doesn't meant one isn't a true fan.

I am a true fan , I used to get the dolphin digest for years despite it arriving to my house in Canada after the game it was intended for , why? because I could follow the team better , know more. Spent lots of money going to road games , going to South Florida virtually every year , and now with technology it is easy to be more informed and I love it . This team makes it hard , and once again we are at a transition stage.

Just like you whining about the stadium in damn near every post you make lately! I've been a part of that crowd since the 70's and your constant crying about the stadium over and over and over is pretty childish to me.

You're the one who does not get it. Its not the goddamn stadium. Its the goddamn team!!

your generalizing, and putting it into a small box,. My theory is not that its the REASON, as your assumptions suggest, for the losses, Its that I believe there is a correlation between the stadium and the culture, and how that can affect an athlete and human being..

I don't expect you to understand.

    Don't worry guys.

    I am here.

My track record speaks for itself. I started the "Miami Heat March to the Finals thread" in 2006 and I started the Miami Heat Summer of 2010 thread.

So we won in Cleveland. That is a foregone conclusion.

How do we stop Rivers and Company? Hopefully the Hamstring brigade can bring it in that game.

Brownies game thread is coming Tomorrow.

if it leads to players coming out flat, or not having the desire to put out their max effort before, during, and after, then there's no sugarcoatin it...ITS a real problem..not the sole problem, but nonetheless a serious issue..

to whom it may concern... does that piss you off when i talk like that ??....
