I think we did bait him into throwing, he just swallowed the entire bait and swam away...like JAWS! The phrase "WE NEED A BIGGER BOAT" comes to mind watching it live yesterday. It was there, we still were a minnow (less than a Dolphin) in an ocean of big sharks. so many mistakes that would'a could'a should'a had us walk away with the win. HAD A BLAST AT THE GAME with Skeet84, GISH, and MariOk and all others I met. Pregame tailgate was far more enjoyable then the game..LOL!
A couple of observations from a fan who's watched the Dolphins since 1966. What ever happened to the notorious home field advantage the Dolphins used to have because of the heat and humidity in south Florida? Seems as though the opposition has the advantage the Dolphins used to have and the Dolphins are suffering from it. Another observation is the great Dolphin defenses were known for their gang tackling. Everybody was converging on the ball and you don't see that anymore? In 1966 I was a teenager and My Dad and I were big fans and watched the games together, now my son and I are big fans and can't understand what has happened to this franchise? This team has a proud history and now a dark cloud seems to hang over the Dolphins.
A smart cookie takes advantage of what is working in that game. The offense overall was not executing well but still, even after the fumble, this team could and should have used more play action.
Waiting for someone to review that. It looked like Pouncey and Carey were rolling their rush D when Thomas carried the ball.
noone took me serious when I said it would prove to be very costly..but he's hurt ya know, nothin we can do.
I don't know. I think Daboll is a change that has me caring more about the team and more optimistic about our future. IMO we shouldn't forget the offense is still new and under construction.
Yeah, no kidding, Frumundah. He had his freakin bell rung. There's almost no way he didn't have a split second black out. I couldn't believe he was able to shake it off like he did. Henne's tough as nails; that's why I had the impression he maybe played through a bum knee last year that affected his play more than was let on.
Frumandah needs a nickname...it doesn't make any sense to call him frumundah lol, I don't believe frumundah is a noun, lol...He's a tough one, I just call him FF..
So, like that poem? Those who write on cheese house walls Roll their cheese in little balls Those who read these words of fun Eat their cheese balls on the run.
Exactly CK. conditioning is huge. I recommend what someone else said here and what someone said on nother board, get rid of the bubble practices for anything other than lightening storms. You think its coincidence that NE plays well in the snow? We have always had a climate advantage yet we decide we should get away from it? Anyway I digress, this TEAM is talented and I am convinced can play talent wise with anyone. BUT playing efficient, cohesive, precise football is teh question. Cannot keep making stupid mistakes, when the opposition makes a play and you have done everything you possibly can do, you tip your hat and then look to how you can improve, but when it is an execution failure that lead to giving up big plays or the lack of execution that caused the offense to fail it is deflating and embarrassing. Those are the things that point to coaching and teh coming weeks will tell whether Sparano really has the players or not.
did someone say ball cheese? Does our defense have a ball cheese problem? Or maybe Mrs. Sparano spent the offseason giving Tonys share of lasagna to our players? I guess either is better than Mrs Sparano giving tony's ball cheese to the players! WOW
