No one is going to take a team over in the middle of the season.

I would think Nolan would take over HC duties if he is fired.

I would assume if Sparano is fired midseason, the job on an interim basis would go to Mike Nolan

Cowher isnt all you guys think he's cut out to be, he's all defense and ground and pound ball. Jimmy Johnson football all over again. I rather have Gruden myself.

14 Years - 1 Super Bowl, 2 Championship games not exactly what I'm looking for

Todd Bowles or Mike Nolan would take over if Sparano is fired midseason.

If I'm Ross I'm making Cowher the first $10M HC and buying out his CBS contract.

Yep. I don't which rock Ireland pulled Bush out from under, but Darren Sproles had 2 TDs today.

Did Bush even have 2 yards?

I don't think Ross sees it that way, they are going to bankrupt him. Besides when have we ever been able to a develop QB?

Obviously I am joking. Dan had issues as OC but he's gone and we STILL have the same problems. Did getting rid of Henning solve anything? Further proof that Sparano and Ireland are clueless and Henning was only their fall guy.

At the end of the day I'd rather look at the situation as a let's rebuild again, but with much more talent situation like Baltimore had back around 2008 then look at it in a let's do a quick rebuild as we've always tried to do. There's talent on this team, we're not in that bad shape. Let's move our outlook though towards 2014 for a playoff season though. This current group is a stepping stone on the way to a high talent level team.

Right now they have good talent (not great), with terrible coaching. It's a start.

If it's somehow possible to get Gruden or Cowher before 2012 then i'm all over it but i prefer "Chucky" Gruden, i don't really like Cowher! lol

Gruden would bring some real energy to Miami. I like him and I think we could find a good DC to go with him.

No one is going to come in and coach mid-season. If someone gets hired before the season ends, they'll almost certainly just evaluate the staff and the players from a booth until the season ends.

I prefer Gruden as well, for the simple reason that he has been studying so much about the college spread systems that I feel like he will try to be completely different when he comes back to the NFL as a head coach. I want to see Miami spreading folks out, utilizing space on the field, and running at a high pace. I've tired of the grind things out, play it close to the vest philosophy that Bill Cowher would bring.

The upside with Cowher is he would bring in someone from the Steelers front office as GM. Omar Khan is usually the name mentioned. Not sure who Gruden would want as GM.

Ross is a fame whore. Meaning he will hire a big name - either Gruden, Cowher or a hot college coach.

Only thing I don't like about Fisher are the penalties. His teams always play inspired ball though.
