I might have done something that I might come to regret. Let me ask ya'll: Is it really binding......I mean like really binding .... if someone offers their soul to the Devil for a Dolphins victory? It's not like he could take you to court or something to enforce the agreement...is it? Besides, I was probably drunk when I made the deal anyway...... ...and it wasn't like some overwhelming victory that would have been worth my soul....... Well guys, at any rate if you don't see me around anymore enjoy the win. Next week someone else will have to step up.
Does it really matter? We Phins fans have already been through hell this season. How could the devil make it any worse? Besides allowing the Pats to go undefeated......hmmm. Maybe I'll have to make a deal now.
Well...I made no deals... But I will tell you this... Im giving a whole lotta thanks tonight!!!! I think we were lifted up today.
I know, bro. I just miss the horny 'stern-ness' that I have grown to love since you sent H. Wayne hunting for Saban.
Well....I never really got the horns thing. I always thought of Jimmy Johnson as the "Pork Faced Devil."
Wayne first started growing horns and getting an evil glow in his eyes back when it was time for wanny to go, since then, he's gotten harder and harder....today, all that pent up angst was washed away. For the time being...
The energy of the die-hard fans today was amazing. I don't give a chit what people see on tv. It was there, overwhelming, and fantastic. Keeping it perspective, it's only one win in a horrific season. I get that. Here's to those who keep the faith, in whatever way that means.
Well I just got a call back from my lawyer and he had good news and bad news. Seems like the good news is, the offer of 'my soul for a Dolphins victory' deal with the Devil is non-binding as it was never accepted by the 'other party'. The bad news is the 'other party' didn't accept the offer because he felt I was offering something that was already going to be his. At any rate it appears the Fins did this all on their own.
I am a knight Templar. We are accused of the most terrible attrocitties, but also of Crusades above brilliance known to man these days. You think I am taking the piss, but a small town close to me is where the Crusade is supposed to have started Bros. I actually went to the "Knight's Templar" school, as did my three kids. we were brought up with the knowledge of the Crusades. Once we knew what the Crusaders did we weren't exactly overjoyed or proud of what we did. So why is religion such a big thing. I really dont care too much for religion, but I do care about people, so forgive me if I dont join in your conversation.
^^^ There is always a way.... [ame]http://youtube.com/watch?v=-Jm3Zb-HSvo[/ame] Better win or you'll be gargling mayonnaise Edit: sorry I couldn't find the "clean" version.
I think the way to weasel out of it is to say that because the Dolphin's didn't win the game in ordinary time that therefore the agreement is unenforceable. I mean all what overtime is is a marketing gimmick, so the game was really a tie not a Dolphins win (Hey I am trying to save your soul here)
here i'm thinking your gonna tell us you divorced your wife, threw your kid outta the house, drove over a pats fan, etc. you're too funny.
Its about time you ante'd up! I put mine on the trading block way back in October, but he failed to deliver, so I got it back in default. Its all good, but everything smells like burnt hickory ever since.
There is actually no Biblical evidence that one can sell his or her soul to Satan. I believe this thought came about during the First Great Awakening. Anyway, I have a little theory that Bill Belicheat sold his soul six years ago. You see, six is the number of the beast. So why didnt they win the Super Bowl every year? Well that would be too obvious. So they won three in five years, and in the sixth and final year, they would be the best team in NFL history and go undefeated and win another Super Bowl. However, my theory with this is that since the contract would be over after the Super Bowl, that the Patriots will never win another one for the rest of time. Just a theory.
Did any of you notice how Stover's OT kick was going right down the middle and then just like that it started to hook and was wide of the goal posts.....it seemed like Divine Intervention to me.
