Nice read thanks, but even if Miami has the first pick in the draft they would not draft Luck. As far as I know this franchise has only drafted one quarterback in the first round. I am willing to bet bottom dollar Miami would draft someone on the offensive line and bi pass Luck. There is a history of QB blunders in Miami and I am sure it will not end anytime soon.

past history is 100% completely irrelevant to what they might do in the draft next year.

I am going against the grain here. Luck is nice and shiny but really, how much is that #1 pick worth. Is this worth a Ricky Willams style trade? Would a team trade there entire draft and then some? Call me nuts but I would pull the trigger if someone offered 3 #1's and a #2 to move up and take luck.....

Swap firsts this year and get there second. Then get the other teams first for the next 2 consecutive years. Thats how you build a franchise in my opinion. Luck will look the same as Henne on his back......

Of course you consider trading the pick if someone offers their whole draft, but I don't see that happening. And I disagree on the comparison between Luck and Henne. Will they look the same between the 20's, probably. the difference may be Luck's ability in the redzone. Henne's abilities break down in the redzone. We get someone that can play well in the redzone, we might be 2-1 right now instead of 0-3.

If we had a WR that actually held on to TD passes, we would be 2-1. Henne can't catch the passes too. Somebody else needs to step up.

It was a jab at our porous oline and that he would get hit just as much. with more high picks we get more starters. :P

I would not compare henne to Luck. Actually I would compare Henne more to a Scott Mitchell or maybe, just maybe he can grow into a Trent Dilfer. I wouldnt want either of those guys today, but will play the cards I am dealt :(

only partially true. henne can't throw a fade in the endzone to save his life. He might actually be the worst at it that I've ever seen. And this is coming from someone that has been pro-Henne since day 1.

No I agree with that. That guy throws terrible fades. I'm almost inclined to put Matt Moore in at the ten yard line.

If that happened, I'm pretty sure I would stop watching football.

Yeah? Well, **** the bleacher report. I've been saying for a couple years now that this was a failed administration, that Coach Meathead was a bad Head Coach with an archaic view of the game and misplaced loyalties to people instead of to the team for which he is responsible, and that Ireland is a poor GM.

I was spot-on right and everyone who argued against it was wrong, and you don't get to jump on the bandwagon now after contributing to the status quo for years with your support while these morons brought the franchise to its knees...again.

Don't think it couldn't happen if Jeff Ireland is still around. Or maybe he'd draft Luck and then trade him for multiple picks to take linemen with.

Why do you assume that? Indy looked better than we did and if they even find a half-decent QB to play for them they'll win some games. Right now our first win will probably be Denver in week 6.

I think if I were a reporter I would be trying to get the man to answer some questions considering how the franchise is perceived, relative to what he was supposed to bring to the table..People don't have the guts to put a microphine in his face and ask him tough questions like, what exactly were your executive goals as president of football operations?, and what kind of executive, and person, takes that position and leaves with so much uncertainty hanging in the air..

Bottom line, he didn't give a sh^5 about us, and has no respect for himself.

Funny you say that about bleacher report, awhile ago I read a title from them that said "Miami trades for Chris Johnson", I was like wtf no way, then after opening it says..oh umm what if we traded for them, talk about a misleading title...ok rant over

Now for the rest of your post.....Spot on and I for the record have never liked the scout being promoted to Gm here, all because he was Parcells butt buddy....FIRE IRELAND!!!!!

I gave the staff support because they made history, in wins , won 11 in a row, history in turning around a team from #1 pick, I mean that wasn't just supporting them, that was some tangible evidence that deserved some respect..but in the end, it looks like you might of been right..

Because it's the same every year with this regime. We start off the season like crap, get hot between wks 5 to 11 and then fade the final month (2008 being the exception on the fade) I've seen this movie before

Does Ireland get a free BJ in Dallas for every Cowgirl castoff we take in? Columbo sucks. Bobby Carpenter sucked. There are reasons why these players were let go. 9 times out of 10 the players Ireland are signing come from Dallas. Are they the only team that has "talent"? Fire Sparano and Ireland now and MAYBE we can go 8-8. Who knows?

I am still pissed that the Dolphins passed on Dez Bryant and instead took Jared Odrick......... curiously enough, the Cowboys wanted Dez Bryant.

Imagine that offense. Bryant on one side, Marshall on the other............sigh.
