They had foreseen a complete implosion.

I thought they would be at least as good as last year.

But I never thought the OL and Defense would be this putrid.

Sad but true. And the defense has been especially disappointing.

The national media was going off of our offensive play last year and how inept we were down the stretch. Most writers were throwing dung at the wall and hoping it stuck. Unfortunately it did.

not only does it bother me that they were right but its what they said.. They said we would fail because Henne sucks, they said we would fail because of ross trying to go get harbaugh and ross trying to get orton or w/e

The only POSITIVES they gave us was that fact that our defense was a legit defense, top 10 at the least. They didn't know it would implode from the 6th to the 30th. They didn't know that our O-line was maybe the worst in the NFL. They didn't know that poor conditioning would league to a variety of injury, including losing our best corner since the first quarter of the first game of the year. They didn't know that Brandon Marshall would turn into Ted Ginn. They didn't know that we would have the worst pass rush in the NFL. They didn't know that Nolan Carroll was going to start. They didn't know that Rashad Jones wasn't a playmaker and Clemons would be hurt. They didn't know that a probowl kicker would miss kicks that high school kids make.

They were right, but they were wrong. But all that matters is wins and losses, so they were right. And to try explaining what I said to an average idiot of a fan, they will just laugh.

The fact is that the offense has actually been worse this season than it was last season. The offense has only scored one touchdown in each of the last three games. I guess the lack of scoring touchdowns and settling instead for field goals wasn't Henning after all. Say all you want about the national media and their prediction that the Dolphins would be terrible this year, but the fact is they were right.

No Henning still sucks, but Ireland/Sparano forgot to get good players and then coach them in addition to firing Henning.

We are the team that when fans argue about statistics one side says - "You can't count them."

I was no fan of Henning, but the fact is that Ireland and Sparano were the GM and Head Coach when Henning was here. So now that Henning is gone and the offense still can't score touchdowns, perhaps everyone will realize that it is lack of talent which is the problem with the Dolphins offense. Henning did need to be replaced, but he could only work with the players he was given by Ireland and Sparano. The fact that the Dolphins are just as bad on offense, in regards to scoring, as they were last year. Perhaps Sparano and Ireland should have been given much more of the blame than Henning was for the poor play of the offense last year.

Yup..I mean what can ya do at this point? It's almost every play I expect the worst, and it damn near happens.

CK is lookin' prophetic about Henne taking hits and getting injured, along with the defensive regression. Now if I can only give him to get me some lottery numbers.

How can you call this an implosion? This has been a well-balanced team.

Miami has not run-blocked well, but they have balanced that out by not pass-blocking well. Miami has turned the ball over, but they have balanced that out by not getting turnovers. Defensively, Miami has not played well in the secondary, but they have balanced that out by not putting pressure on the passer. Miami has not gotten into the gaps to stop the run, but they have balanced that out by missing tackles. Implosion...please, this is a well-balanced team.

I just think its funny how everyone thought Daboll was doing a good job lmao only a moron didn't know this offense would be worse this year. We gave away our franchise player ronnie brown for nothing this whole off season was a joke. I also think a lot of our problems started with drafting odrick last year when we could of upgraded a position we really needed.

Franchise player Ronnie Brown? You know how I know you don't pay attention? Brown is doing less than nothing in Philly, and would likely be worse here. He's a dancer, like Bush, without the speed.
Daboll has done a decent job calling plays IMO, however BM can't catch a cold and Colombo just allows any opponent he blocks to end up in the backfield.

Our franchise player Ronnie Brown? That guy hasn't done jack and made himself look like a fool today. Ultimately cost philly the game. I guess he isn't that good. I like the guy though and wish him well but I think his days are behind him, which if not for freak injuries had big potential.

Billboards and advertisements don't mean sht. Fact of the matter is he was just unrealized potential due to the injury bug, and it caught up with him. He's just not a productive player, especially now.

You advertise your franchise player and let me tell you bush is doing wonders this year, we would of been way better off with brown and dt.

Yet they were completely wrong on the Bills, Eagles, Lions, Redskins, etc. They got lucky. That's how it goes.

  21. Our defense was and still is average. They looked better last year because the other teams offenses were not pressured to put up many points to beat us. It made our defense appear to be better then they are.
