Does it mean anything? Only post-game video on the Dolphins website is Bokamper interviewing Chad Henne...
I have zero desire to hear Tony's post-game comments. I want to watch the dolphins play, and that's it.
Yes, but I'm starting to DVR the game so I can watch our defense play at 2x speed. 1) it makes our defense look faster 2) it hurts much less when the other team inevitably scores It kills me to say it, but after 26 years of watching pretty much every game, for the first time, I feel I'm becoming desensitized to our team losing. even when we were 1-15, I still got excited over every play. I had more fun playing 3 consecutive games of CandyLand with my daughter while watching the game than the actual game itself. and I hate CandyLand. On a positive note, for the first time in 4 years, I actually won a game of Candyland.
Only fantasy football and the red zone channel is keeping my interest. I went from fired up for week 1, to guarded optimism for week 3..now..I could care less and want this whole group canned. I don't like what this regime has done to my fandom. Not even 1-15 did this to me.
For the first time ever I skipped the beginning of the Dolphins game to finish watching Dallas-Detroit on the RZ. I didn't cheer or get upset once during the game. I simply don't care about the outcomes anymore.
i agree. its happening to all of us. last week was the first time my heart didnt beat out of my chest at the end of a close game. yesterday, my pulse didn't raise at all. if anything, i got more relaxed at the end. every game is the same now and im callous toward it. rooting for the dolphins is now sort of like rooting for your non-competitive alma mater teams. this is bad because i think that large portion of dolphins fans are spread out over florida and other parts of the country. if the local team is winning games, it becomes harder to justify being a dolphin faithful. most of these fans are dividends of Dan Marino and that stock has been liquidated. how many young, new, non-Miami resident fans have their been over the last decade? any at all?
I did the same thing. I refused to cut Red Zone short to watch the Dolphins play. During the game, I started playing A Link to the Past and really didn't bother turning my head to the game too much.
Sparano's post game presser was on the NFL website. Scroll down 3/4 of the way. http://www.nfl.com/gamecenter/2011100213/2011/REG4/dolphins@chargers#menu=highlights&tab=recap
