I've (sadly) watched three Rams games this year, and the Rams are bad. Theyve got nothing on the offensive side of the ball right now. Their line is as bad as I've seen. I wish I had the drop stats for the Redskins game, but they were atrocious - he was hitting guys in the hands and they looked they spent the offseason doing drills with Marshal.

Miami has had plenty of opportunities, plenty of things go their way. Plenty of chances. The organization is just crappy, that's it. They have had plenty of chances to make up for previous errors and they've failed. Even this season they'd had chances. Go the Dolphins' way? I don't know dude, I'd say that's just an excuse for how pitiful the team has scouted, drafted, and competed over the years.

Thankfully, the Rams already have a legitimate franchise QB in Bradford.

If the Rams somehow got the #1 pick, they will trade it away for a king's ransom to fix the many many problems they have on their team and build around Bradford. Which is the smart thing to do.

good article. goes back to the Jimmy johnson years.

while it's true one of the other QB's in this talented, QB heavy draft could help us.........i just feel that some of them will be busts or mediocre QB's. Luck is the only one I want.

Drafting Andrew Luck is going to revitalize this entire fanbase. Shake us to our core and give us hope again.

"With the 1st pick of the 2012 NFL draft, the Miami Dolphins select... Andrew Luck" and watch him put on a dolphins hat. Please let it happen football gods.

We're 1/4 done of this long season. Don't let the train stop, Dolphins.

Like Marc Anthony say in the big screen "Fin up, Dolphans."

I'm sorry guys but Matt Moore will not let that happen he will take your Dolphins to the promise land!! Yes Miami their is a SB and your all going!!:up:

now of course you will get beat by Cam Newton and the Panthers but what the hell enjoy the ride.

It's not Matt's fault he got a concussion week 1 and they rushed him back to get us our 1st win and then he tears his arm all up and end up on IR, Jimmy Clausen got us Cam Newton.

    Not Our Luck!!!

    I'm sick with this.

As for MMoore, people forget he was decent in Carolina, guys would make plays for him, thought last yr Richardson pretty much tanked the season with Fox, he wanted him gone but did not want to pay him his last yr on his deal.

Whats not comforting is knowing that when the team is completely out of the playoff picture, this staff will not do what a staff that is not in trouble will do, and that is play all young players to see what they have for next season..That initself does not bode well for us getting the #1 pick.

If this isnt the most biased thread to ever exist idk what is... moore will help us get luck just like henne will haha, i live in SD and was at the game Sunday and realized the only difference between henne and moore is their jersey numbers.. henne may be a little better but rather than throwing a pick to end the game down by 10, henne might have taken us down the field and scored a field goal then thrown the game ending pick down by 7... thats the only difference

I have read this a couple of time but what young players aren't they playing?

Thomas, Pouncey, Gates, Odrick, Misi, Wilson, Jones all playing.

Who is waiting in the wings that has any talent at all the coaches won't play?

i seriously doubt the rotting fish will be in place to draft luck...i could be wrong...i see us getting barkley, kmoore, jones or griffin..which wouldn't be horrible either...would i rather have luck, yes, but those other names aren't exactly beck or quinn

Moore is garbage... And his first game is against the Jets' defense... Rex might blitz him to death with our weak offensive line.

Moore combined with how poorly our team is playing all around is a sure sign of a losing season. I doubt we will be bad enough to get the number one overall pick but we will be in the top 5 or so.

Jones should not be playing, Clemons, Will Allen, Nate Garner, Roberto Wallace and Clay and Gates should be playing a bit more.

Brandon Marshall is a root problem AdamC.

The way the Phins have floundered as of late,IF they get the first pick I am not totaly convinced that they do the correct thing and pick Luck.

If it's this FO, you make a very good point. My guess is it more likely be an O or D lineman to be named later.

Imagine if they pass on Luck. And he turns out to be the real deal. Riots would ensue ... maybe not. Too hot.

This is how I see it going.

    A. Dolphins get #1 pick and go OL.

    B. Dolphins get Luck, turns out to be terrible NFL QB and is out of the league in 3-5 seasons.

Let's try to win some games!!!!

Guarantee any team run by Steve Ross at this point would NOT pass on Luck. Would probably sell 10,000 more season tix just by picking him, and 10-15,000 more the next season if he shows great promise as a rookie. Besides, when was the last time a guy came out as "perfect" as Luck and didn't pan out? Elway? He did OK I guess. Manning, to a lesser degree? I guess I'd take his production. Kid will not fail, and - at worst - would become a QB in the top 10-15 range, at worst! More than likely, a top 5 guy w/in 3-5 years.

I can't openly root for the team to lose on Sundays, but I won't cry if they do from now on. I really don't expect much now. And if it means I have to endure a 2-14 or 3-13 to get this monster of a QB on my team, sign me up right now!!

IF Ireland stays I can't him passing on Luck. I know we joke about the last draft but didn't get around that they wanted to Take Locker but he went earlier then they thought? There was also talk about Ponder as well. I have very little doubt that if we get the first pick it'll be a QB, the bigger question might be which QB.

This is how I see the "Suck for Luckers"

To me, Dolphins fans should hate losing enough that such an idea produces the desire to jump off of the ledge rather then be terrible for a draft pick.

Pads, I would never root for the dolphins to lose, but being realistic enough to see we arent that good, and have the opportunity to get a franchise qb which hasnt been as praised since the mid 90s, when our biggest need since 1999 has been qb.....ill take the lumps this year to get em.

If its between 6-10 or 2-14 and the difference between another ****ing guard, or andrew luck. ill take losing those 4 games.
