Well, Matt Moore is a decent Qb, but the guy is not close to being a Top 15 Qb in the NFL, should Sparano dust off the WC and use DTrain and Bush in it? Suck for Luckers need not apply...some fans are actually crazy enough to think winning matters...locos...
Sure, why the hell not. Just make sure we employ it just like last year... no jet sweep, no passing and every time we get inside the opponent's 35.
I think we are way past that "no passing" thing Opie, basically Sparano has little choice but to use it, imho.
well this is kind of dumb considering that Ronnie was the reason for the wildcat's success. the moves this ball club makes is driving me to missing Feidler and Dave show. and that is how sad things are .
Oh gosh no, please please please no. If Thomas is healthy just use the base offense because we can run the ball. It should hopefully open some things up for Bess to do some damage underneath. Only question is, will the defense be used like a cloth to clean up a dirty lunch counter.
Have to disagree Striking, the WC was very effective in the RedZone, and if Henne really is out for the yr, there are no Qb development issues to be concerned with a TD from the Cat is as good as a TD from Moore.
Reggie Bush might actually be a better version of Ronnie Brown in the wildcat. Reggie is faster, younger, and more athletic. and DTrain can play the role of Ricky Williams.
Let's run it every 4th down instead of punting. Screw it. If we're aiming for Luck, at least have fun and do crazy **** that'll leave evryone speechless.
Sure if they want to guarantee a loss against the Jets, then go ahead and run the Wildcat.. Rex already has shown he can stop it.
Should be interesting, which way does Sparano and Daboll go? Stick with the passing attack, or rely on DTrain and Bush and Slaton and Hilliard? Hate to point it out, but on O only Dtrain and Hartline have been making things happen.
I don't think we have an offensive problem. (waits a few hours for the reactionary hot heads to cool off) We do move the ball well enough as an offense but we lack an identity especially in the red zone. Part of that is from not having Thomas for two games. The two fumbles in weeks 2 and 3 really hurt the team's momentum (I could almost hear the, "here we go again whining"). The drops, say Marshall actually catches the ball on 3 of the 4 potentially TD passes. Our scoring numbers don't look quite as poor. I think we can move the ball and score if Thomas can stay healthy, Marshall can catch the ball, and they avoid momentum changing turnovers, plus establish an identity or at least do a better job of creating mismatches and isolation plays. That last bit is on Daboll, is he capable of it? For me the Wild Cat was a gimmick offense, it worked sometimes, but usually a team seeing it for the second time was able to make the adjustments and really good defenses just owned it (see Ravens). I don't mind using the WC but it has to be something that plays off of a traditional offense to maximize the potential. Plus I feel our base offense just needs to get in synch a little better, and maybe introducing the WC now just sets them back.
people can say what they want about Jay, dude won games. granted it was on the back of a super bowl caliber defense for a while, but still
