Plus the fact that all other teams will have fans that carry the exact same signs around. So it's really irrelevant.

If Andrew Luck is thinking that way, I can name you about 5 teams he will refuse to play for.

Whether you like it or not, we're in the Andrew Luck sweepstakes. And if we win, he will replace Henne.

If Denver starts Tebow the rest of the year they are just trying to sell tickets and keep fans interested. He doesn't give them any real shot of winning more games, remember this is a guy who was fighting with Quinn for 3rd string in training camp. He still can't throw accurately, he still has major mechanical flaws. He can run Qb draws, we've always known that but when he has to play against defenses that have game planned for him I don't like his chances. I do find it ironic that people who have blasted Vick and Newton, IE players that have actually put up in the NFL are now calling for a team to build around Tebow when he hasn't shown the ability to do anything in the NFL but run the Qb draw. Tebow gives Denver the best shot at Luck, its a win win for Elway. They play Tebow he loses the rest of his games, the fans sour on him then they bring in Luck, its brilliant.

Couldn't have said it better myself. After a day of watching all of our fellow Luck chasers they all look to have plenty of "GAME" left in them, Colts included! Its gonna be Tebow time Sunday after next, I think we are going to have an answer by then, for sure.

What with the way KC won and the Bronks almost did I don't see even one easy win for the Dolphins, not one! Maybe we beat the Jest next Mondy night but even that is up in the air. Do you really think Rexy will let his boys lay down so Miami gets a win? We'll see! But if I were a bettin man that chance won't come til the second game when it might make a difference about us really getting Luck!

Had to come back and add the team that SCARES me ..... The Rams! The only team that scores less TD's than us, they bear watching!

Tebow wouldn't be a bad option if he were acquired for a fourth or something. I'd rather get one of the top QBs though. I worried about his ability to create in the two-minute drill but he looked far more impressive than Henne has and he barely was starting to get into the spread offense. The kid is going to be good, give him a good defense and a powerful rushing line and watch.

I'm not saying Henne has looked great but hes looked a lot better than Tebow at throwing the ball. Not saying much for either one of them but Tebow looks like crap throwing the ball. Great defenses are not going to let you run around in the backfield and chuck up prayers and you aren't going to run up the gut on them all day either. Henne has a much better arm and mechanics than Tebow. I wouldn't get rid of Henne to start Tebow, I think you'd win more games with Henne, thats not a ringing endorsement by any means.

True, but you have to wonder how much his father, fmr NFLer Oliver Luck (who has been quite successful off the field) will influence his decision?

FWIW,Luck is a hard cat to figure out, I've not seen or read any interviews with him for example.

I am sure that Andrew Luck realizes that any fanbase that gets him will be energized. All of this is about HIM, and the promise of the positive influence he can have.

Regardless of our recent struggles, this is a good organization with a ton of history. We will get any coach we want if we secure the #1. It won't be a problem.

For being a team with a chance at #1 overall in the draft I feel like we are actually a pretty attractive situation as long as we get a new coaching staff that is worth a crap. Our receivers are good, we have the best left tackle in the game, and a promising young rb. I think that puts us ahead of the curve when you consider most #1 overall type teams. We just have to get rid of coach meathead, after the season of course.

Cam has played better than I thought he would. I really like what Rob Chudzinski has done with him though. He hasn't tried to pigeon hole him as just a drop back guy. Rob is letting him use his athleticism. In the passing game, Chud has him making high/low reads on the half field. His handling of Cam Newton is why Chudzinski is on my list of head coaching candidates for Miami.

Exactly. Hall of fame LT, who will be fully healthy next season, potential pro bowl Center, very good receiving core, yound, good running back. Sure we need pieces on the OL and tE, but all in all, we're a pretty good spot.

Fellas...it's the Dolphins...no one disappoints their fans as much as this franchise does.

We'll go 7-9 or something, and it will be "damn, they cannot even lose when we need them to"

Normally, I'd agree, but a perfect storm of problems seems to be brewing here. Coach on the hot seat, backup QB, leaky defense, turnstile o-line, etc.

Not even sure we can screw this up

Bro, get off your high horse. You are no bigger a fan than those of us that see no hope for this year and are wanting a better chance at being good next year and 10 yrs beyond. To each his own.

By the way, we aren't the only fans hoping for the worst season this year. We aren't the only fans holding up Suck for Luck signs. I guess Luck will only come out if the Saints, Patriots, or Packers have the 1st pick.

Make what of the remaining 12 games? Make what? Do tell. Your dream scenario must be 8-8 and another first round lineman. I've got some news for you - those current players are collecting pretty good paychecks. Frankly a lot of them are ripping off the team right now. I don't feel sorry for any of them. Do your job and if you're decent you might stick around with the new regime. Don't worry about what I'm thinking. That's a player's job. They're part of the reason we're in this situation.

I want Luck. I really do. BUT the chance to DAGGER the Jets...

It's too much. If the Jets lose a 4th straight game? To the lowly... US?

The Panic. The insanity. The implosion.

    I can't miss it.

    Dagger these *******s, Tony.

You don't HAVE to, but your margin is razor-thin if you don't. Think of it as reverse playoff seeding.

Since we're likely to win a game or two anyway, it might as well be the Jets.

But for the first time, I'm not going to be broken up if we do lose. I think we are facing a very tough task. The Jets are desparate right now, much more desparate and in a different way than we are. Going to their house, on a Monday night, I expect we get their best. For as much hay is made over Tony's success up in NY, only the Pennington finale in 2008 was really impressive. The last two wins up their were a Ted Ginn fluke and an atrocious game in the muck that featured two teams that barely wanetd to win.

If the Fins beat the Jets, NY will start having a panic attack not only because the 0-4 Fins won, but because they'd be 2-4. Maybe they'd start thinking SFL?

Daboll needs to bring his A game, and our receivers have to start getting open. Catching those TD passes might help too. I want to beat the Jets but it would be much more satisfying to do it in our last game of the year, ending any playoff dreams they had.

Think about this, if we manage to win a few games here and there we lose the chance at Luck honestly. The Jets who I hate as well have a better team! If we beat them we hurt ourselves. Let them win what they don't understand is that by letting them win. A few days of JETS mouthing off is nothing. Were actually going to haunt them for the next 15 years with LUCK. While they maintain a good team but never good enough to win it all with dirty Sanchez as their QB!

I know it hurts, but suck it up we suck, enjoy it, because if we land Luck we won't be down this road again for ages!!!

I am reassured by the FACT that my rooting interests do not effect the outcome of the game. Every time I feel torn about stuff like this, I just remind myself that I am not a magical being and my wishes and prayers are irrelevant. Makes things less stressful.

Jacksonville is certainly a dark horse. Although it would not shock me if they pull a few wins out as Gabbert has been getting better week by week. While Indy winning would have been great it wasn't the end of the world as KC is virtually eliminated now. Denver is a much larger threat. Denver and KC are "must loses" in that regard.
