Brian Billick was on QAM this morning and said:

"I just do not see any matchup that favors the Dolphins"

Which is an interesting statement, I'd like to hear dolphins fans thoughts on it, and "none, I agree with Billick" is a just fine response.

If Thomas plays I imagine we'll be able to run the ball a little bit.

We should be able to get some pressure on sanchez.

the jets shouldn't bother too much with the Miami bottom feeders. obviously, there are none & there will be little to brag about after the game.

I'm not sure who would be better or not, but I'm pretty interested to see how Mike Pouncey handles Sione Pouha. He's a pretty underrated NT, and I think it'll be a good test for Pouncey.

Dolphins run game vs. Jets run defense

Dolphins run defense vs. Jets run game

Those are the two areas where Miami can win the game.

    But their bus is shorter.

Thinking Wake on Hunter (their RT) as well.

You gotta think they are going to look at the zone run concepts. NYJ can't stop it right now and haven't been able to at all this season. Every team has gave them fits with it. In that case, Daniel Thomas could be a factor as well as even Reggie Bush possibly.

NYJ really misses Bryan Thomas against the run.

Agreed. They also miss nickel back Drew Coleman (against pass and pressure) IMO.

For me, I think Slaton plays more of a roll then people think he would at this point in time, if we run some zone blocking plays, he has enough experience to have success with them...?

True, and Deej, if I were GM, and needed to make 1 trade to turn this season around, it would be a 5th rd pick to Jacksonville for...Matt Roth.

To me, we miss the mutant zombie edge setting SOLB that he was, in terms of attitude and ferocity.

The bad matchup is Matt moores arm, vrs a blitz happy Jet defense, with corners that can cover..

The only silver lining I can find ...... Sparano has a knack of beating them in their house mostly caused by the JETS own ineptitude! Sooner or later even that positive will catch up with us!

Sparano could whip Ryan in the parking lot wrestling match after the game. The fiery little Guido against the rotund Irish galoot, I'd go with the Guido every time.

Cam Wake has 3 sacks and will have double digit sacks by the end of the season. He is the least of our problems.

If I were you, I would be worried as hell right now..your QB, your offense, your skill players, your age..I think your record reflects what your team is...Average..

You have the best corner in the game though..best corner I've ever studied.
