I see what your saying, of course it cannot make a player that has flaws majically change them... The whole dynamic of this organization, and perception would be different..Its much deeper than the examples your using, and the point of my take on this subject is that there is such a thing as a real homefield advantage and what it can do to a fanbase and a teams collective effort.

One of the reasons I wanted Jim Harbaugh so very bad, was because I thought he was a rare breed of coach who because of who he is, could singlehandedly motivate a football team, and be able to get them to focus on their details, and overcome the disadvantages that comes from playing in this town and in that stadium..

that is a poor excuse. I played Rugby at Uni and then Club Rugby afterwards, and we generally had about 50 people watching if we were lucky, and usually it was so they could join us for a drink after. The lack of fans never was a cause of 'low energy', if you can't get pysched up to go out and play regardless of the amount of fans you are playing in front of then you shouldn't be playing. Obviously it is awesome to have play in front of a big crowd, but as an amateur or a professional athlete citing the lack of a fans at a game to justify your lack of energy/ production is an excuse and a poor one at that.

Sparano has said that this team plays better away because they are not distracted and they have Tonys undivided attention .Obviously that is an indirect admission that the opposite is true when they are at home.Whose fault is that ? Its not the fans .IMO The team and coaches are not in sync which is a direct reflection on the coaches IMO.

I would start by getting rid of the bubble .Make the players work and sweat it out for their paycheck. The bubble encourages a glass house effect which encourages lazy habits IMO.

The stadium doesn't throw interceptions. It's a fine stadium, and it will get better. They've said they're moving the seats 18 feet closer in the off-season. That's not incredibly close, but it's still closer. There will be some kind of roof at some point, probably the half roof with the seats covered but open above the field.

The fans will come when they see more excitement. The stadium was perfectly loud for our primetime games in 2009 and 2010. All you can do is hope that the Dolphins finally get their exciting, talented QB and fix some of the other issues in the off-season and get back to exciting, winning football. It all lies on the team now.

And the team does not really play better on the road. They got trashed in NE week 17 2010 and lost at Cleveland and SD, two places that aren't incredibly difficult to play. I think it was a coincidence last season.

We don't win at home because we suck as a football team.

Amen to that! Players who are worried about a half full statium rather than being worried about JUST DOING THEIR JOB are not the players I want on my team. Furthermore why would I pay to go see them in the first place?! It's damn expensive entertainment, to expensive, to watch a bunch of screw ups screw up and lose!
