I think we get our first win here. The team is healthy, coming off a bye, and I see players playing as they are able to. Miami- 24 Jets- 13
Dont care what the score is. Just win! Phuc those goddamn bastards. That's about as mild as I can get.
I would say Jets 24, Miami 17. I think it'll be a close game that will be decided in the 4th quarter.
If DT and Vd play the Fins may have a chance, I know the Fins haven't looked good but the Jets don't look alot better. Jets 24 Fins 21
I don't think it's going to be a very high scoring game. I think it's going to be a game of who makes the least amount of mistakes that ultimately desides the game...turnovers and penalties. Mark Sanchez is irratic...an undisciplined gunslinger who presses bad situations trying to force something to happen when most times it's not. I can see Sanchez, even with our anemic defensive backfield tossing at least 2 interceptions. The key for the Jets is going to be LaDanien Tomlinson. If our defesive line can't hold him...if the linebaackers arean't able to pursue him down the line on outside handoffs/pitches, he'll be the playmaker for the Jets and not Sanchez. Daniel Thomas should be back to full strength and I see him being used alot, pounding at the Jets defensive line. If Miami doesn't abandon the run (like they did WAY too many times last year), plays "chess" instead of "checkers" and uses Thomas' running, it'll keep the Jets defense honest by keeping 7 in the box and giving Henne opportunities at play action passes, which we all know, if you have a good solid running game, play action pass can break a field wide opened. On the flip side of the coin, if Henne is able to read the defense defending passes and checks to Thomas running the ball, like Tomlinson, he can have a big day running the ball. New York: 2 ints, 1 fumble, 5 penalties for 75 yards Miami: 1 int, 0 fumble, 8 penalties for 90 yards Miami in a close one 17-13.
I never played football, just hoops. My feelings are that our players have had some time to look in the mirror during the bye, and did not like what they saw. The only players from a year ago who have even shown up are Starks, Hartline, and Fields. That is a VERY SAD state of affairs for our team, and the players playing. They have all had time to watch ESPN, who mentions their team as a afterthought in trouble, looking for some eventual Luck. They have all had the time to look in the mirror. I doubt many have liked what they saw. All that being said, these players now have to play on MNF in NY. All their peers are gonna be watching. All their fans are gonna be watching. All the media, who ripped them, are gonna be watching. All things considered, IF this team cannot come up with a GREAT effort, they should be looking for a different line of work.
Hard to imagine it will be any uglier than a pooch screwing a toy. It was very funny the first time. Then became increasingly boring, time after time, after time, etc. JMHO
First post this new season! I have a good feeling about this one fellas. 16-10 for our Miami Dolphins.
Now that you mention it, that's what I'm thinking too. These games are usually either 50-60 point games or under 20 point games. I'm going with the baseball score this go around.
That does change things, if we had DTrain I'd be confident in this one, but they downgraded him to quesitonable. To me, they should try Lexxy and Slaton and use Bush as the X factor player. But still, 15-10, Dolphins.
I`ll be at the game and i`ll be DAMNED if I root against them against the Jets and have to listen to those idiotic fans. Just wont happen. Cant predict what record we`ll have at seasons end and what may transpire as a result, but I want this game BAD. Dolphins -27 Jets - 17
The Jets are struggling pretty badly, I think we win this one. A nice feel good victory during a turbulent season.
I can't stand the Jets or their fans. If the Dolphins were to win only two games this season and they were both against the Jets, I would be a happy camper. Yet, if I had to bet my house on this game, I would have to pick the Jets to win. Jets-24 Dolphins 10.
Cower said we're going to be in for a long night, and does not like Matt Moore. When he was commenting on Marshall getting thrown out in the 2nd quarter, he said that having Matt More throwing to him has something to do with it. Guess we know which QB will not be here if he becomes the HC.
We'll see, a lot depends on DTrain being available, if he is and healthy then MMoore will more or less be a caretaker Qb, if not, then it is anyone's guess what will happen.
Not having a good feeling about this one. This is the kind of game where we could get swamped. Jets 24, Dolphins 10.
Do the math. We have no pass rush, no red zone offense, we are starting a second string QB that's rarely played, and 1/2 of our DB's (who have sucked all year anyway) have mobility injuries. I am amazed that the line is only 6.5 points. The bigger question is this: how do we keep getting on MNF when we have sucked for the last two years?
Let's hope this is a premonition... Just had some down time and was playing Madden 2012...Miami vs New York Jets. Final score: Miami 70 NYJ 24 271 yards rushing, 99 yards passing, Henne QBR 158.3 New York 20 yards rushing, 55 yards passing Sanchez 2 pick 6's PLEASE let THIS come true!!!
-passrush could improve with guys getting healthy over the bye week -Moore has started like 13 games, with 3 GW drives -we have Vontae and Koa Misi back and Will Allen has proven to be durable enough to play whenever we need him. This may be the game when No Show Jones is a net plus at FS, I'd suspect the Jest are going to try ground and pound.
I have a theory that someone in the league hates my guts and takes great pleasure in making me get up at 2:30 PM to watch my team play bad football. Forget suck for Luck, I'm perfectly fine with suck for a year without MNG Dolphins football.
7-9 technically isn't sucking. And considering the past 2 MNF games against the Jets were good games, they might as well continue scheduling them.
Dolphins have had a great national following, although diminishing the past few years. The Jets rivalry is hated and heated. That makes for good ratings over small market teams.
