We have the worst out of shape players in the NFL. I would love to have a defense built like the Ravens. Dont our guys hit the weight room? Beside Wake and Dansby and Marshall, the rest are friggin pathetic. Whom ever the New Coach is either the Chin or Chucky. We need discipline, work ethic, and anything else I cant think of right now.... Fat slobs we are... even I have to lose weight, but I'm not playing for 12 million Solai.. waste of money :pity:

From your keyboard to Jon Gruden. Relaying quotes from Mike Nolan and Karlos Dansby about the defense being out of shape.

But its like that year after year, been watching the fins for 35+ years I can't remember if we ever had freaks and studs on defense. What I mean about that is hitting the weight room not have flabby players, Unless your say Vince Wilfork, but he is flabby but he can lift a truck...

under Jimmy and wanny and Saban the D was top 10 or top 5. Ever since Marino left it's always been the O that was offending.

35 plus years and no "studs" on D? Who have you been watching? Bowens, Gardner, Armstrong, Taylor, Thomas, Surtain, Madison, Marion, Vincent, Coleman, just off the top.

Destroy the practice bubble! Hire a Tom Coughlin-esque taskmaster who will whip the players into shape!!!!!

It was 50 degrees tonight in the stadium but Vontae "Best Corner Tandem in the League" Davis was cramping.

I remember them and they are great players, but thats not what I meant. What I am trying to say is guys in shape ripped. Bowens was naturally strong and a beast, when Gardner wanted to play he would dominate. Armstrong 18+ sacks in a year friggin awesome, Surtain and Madison we havent had a better set of corners. Include Vincent in there.

Just want some guys who take friggin pride in there profession, I mention the Ravens, there linebackers are monsters, Ray Lewis is a Wall, they other 2 cant rememebr there names, are the others part of there berlin wall. Our front four cant put pressure to break an egg. Its the same players as last year but nothing.

Hire a better S&C staff. In fact, my wife is related to a pretty good S&C guy

The word is Cajones, and I'm beginning to agree. Actually the team looks to me like they all get stoned together in the locker room before every game.

    Actually, it's cojones.

Football shape? Think Shula and the 12 minute run. Bubble? You have got to be kidding me.

Again!!! Hydration and conditioning. Its not rocket science. Sometimes i actually feel sorry for the Defense. Jets went 3 and out on 1st 4 drives but after standing on those sideleines watching our powderpuff Offense they suddenly regress to our Offenses standard which is garbage. Whole team needs a shake down.

Well, that's what Tony has been criticized for being in the past. Well, he's never really been a taskmaster, but players have commented on his micromanaging.

Yes, this defense is out of shape. They were the first game of the year when people tried to make excuses saying that it was just the Patriots no huddle. The crux of this is that this team has abandoned the natural advantage they have over every other team in the NFL. This team should be practicing in the heat and not in that damn bubble. This team has gotten soft ever since that bubble was built.

The other big problem is that no one on this defense outside of Will Allen has any instincts on what to do. They can do what they are told to do, but if they have to read anything, they are up a creek. It is beyond obvious that Channing Crowder was the guy that got the linebackers in position last year.

Shula's teams were never out of shape. In fact in the early days Shula use to workout with them! Its time for us to hire a coach that will lay down the law and keep these guys from partying down at south beach. Where was this "change of culture" that we heard so much about?
