I just hope Ross makes a good decision for a change . this suck for luck is all for not if a onther team moves up and gets to draft before us. so i want to know what are Miami's other options .

The fear/reality is this team may have to be sold before any "Owner mistakes" are eliminated from the equation.

    Ross has embalmed this Franchise!

It should be today after a collapse against a team and QB as pathetic as tebow and the broncos were for 3 and 3/4's of a game.

For the sake of this team finally getting a franchise QB though, I hope Sparano stays all year.

Mr. Ross should put the team into a trust until he finds a buyer. He is a disgrace.

Tebow's play at QB was among the worst I've ever seen. Yet they still couldn't stop him from winning. I'm with you on hoping Sparano stays. It insures a coin toss with Indy for Luck b/c Indy is throwing games at all cost this year. I actually think Miami tried to win today.

Some people still don't get it. Sparano isn't going anywhere. And it's not because Ross is an idiot. It's becuase he's making a damn smart decision to suck 4 luck, and Sparano loses games like no other in the history of the sport.

I think the reason Tony is still in charge is the little thing called redundancy pay. Ross certainly doesn't want to award Tony by firing him outright and paying him much of his remaining contract. remember tony just signed an extension prior the season started.

When will people realize Ross isn't going to find a solution.... BECAUSE HE'S PART OF THE PROBLEM?

LOL this is the greatest news I had all day! I was listening to the game on the radio with 7 mins left we were up 15 I was pissed. Than I turned it off thinking we screwed ourselves. Now I read this LOL THANK YOU FOOTBALL GODS THANK YOU!!!!

There is 10)% no way that Ross lets Tony control the team anymore. EMBRASSED AT HOME AGAIN and against a HORRIBLE TEAM with 7 mins left in the game LOL! Serious I know some of you are pissed and hate this Suck for Luck movement but come on this is the best news our franchise could get at this time.. The Sparano Ireland and Parcelles era is now OVER!

    SUCK FOR LUCK!

I understand the normal firing mentality. However, most years Andrew Luck doesn't hang in the balance.

And it's not as if we have another coach on staff who can step in and run things. Mike Nolan....he was a failure in SF. What's the point of firing Tony anyway?

Maybe you make the move in Week 15, giving you a head start on the hiring process.

Roos is a f&*in joke. He really is. This guy is a pure businessman and it ends there. Put fannies in the seats, screw how the home fans think about it no less what his own teams thinks about it. Dolphins are just another toy for the man. He is not a fan of anything, especially football. Its worse then when Georgia Frontiere owned the Rams. For years prior to her death she did not know if she owned a football team or a chess team. The moment she died the for sale sign went up.

As long as Ross owns the Dolphins they are going no where. My biggest fear is they keep Tony till the end of the season. I do not care what players say in public or to the media, they all have to have had it with him and Dahbol and Nolan and Ireland by now. We kick that extra point instead of going for 2 and overtime would have never happened.

Um, didn't the Rams win a Super Bowl while she owned the team?

And yes, all pro team (excepting Green Bay) are the toys of rich people. We are just along for the ride hoping for the best.

I consider myself a patient man and I have not watched the last two games. I have them on dvr but I have not bothered to watch or listen to either game. This team does not matter. He is the owner. I'm fairly certain something is about to happen.

He sold tickets that made this game a sellout and 3-4 million people in south florida saw the game for free. Its a brand and a business. They are doing everything they can to promote the brand. What's wrong with that?

You mean run things as good as they currently are??? I believe any coach or assistant can step right in and at worst, it will be transparent...

The point of firing TS now, is that he will do the right thing, what is expected by every rational thinker out there...TS must be dying to have someone take him out of his missery, and pay him out for the rest of this year...

At least he can have the time to plan his career move and work on cleaning it up from here on out...

No one will criticize Ross, after todays game for doing it, the team will understand it and maybe they will win a game or so, at least have them thinking that they are working/playing to have a job next season...

Um, outside those 2 years, the Rams had losing records in St. Louis and still do, Um. and no, owners like Kraft love their team, their fans and the game itself Um. Ross is a sad joke. a real sad joke. Man reminds me of a real dork, rich dork but just the same, El Dorko should be his name.

I think the first thing Mr. Ross should do is implement a mandatory writing and spelling program for the fans so I don't have to work so darn hard to figure out what the OP is actually saying.

I agree. Make a move around week 15 when Sparano still hasn't won a game this season and then you can go ahead and start reaching out to and looking at potential replacements.

I don't think anyone is giving Ross a pass but what is anyone going to do about it? He owns the team and can't be fired.

The same Ross that asked the league to take away our only home field advantage by moving Sept. KO times ?? The same Ross that botched the Harbaugh hire ?? The same Ross that thinks that the celebrity minority owners will change how many butts are in the seats ??

Ross is the primary cause for us being the league laughing stock. He was the one that took all the teeth out of Sparano by shopping for a HC before firing the one he has already, then switching back and "keeping" him with an extension. He needs only look in the mirror...

I caught that too, I also noticed that Shula was at the game, he is still very involved at a high level with the Dolphins organization. I wonder if Ross quietly told Shula to give him his opinion on the team / TS etc... Correct me if I am wrong but Shula only attends special events doesn't he? It struck me as odd that he was there. Am I wrong?

Right now, I dont think anyone can objectively state that Stephen Ross is not part of the problem. He is directly implicated, and his words and actions are impacting the results this FRANCHISE has earned! The embarrassing heights now achieved are his doing!

The best thing to remember, is he can change all this. He has the ability to reverse things. Question is can he...does he understand his role in all of this?

so hard to take his presence seriously...wow

The Dolphins should go after Robert London. He could be an excellent fit for GM...
