I know its got to be hard right now, but we are fans of this team and we know what we have to do..and things will get better if we can secure the right coach and QB.

1} Ive been saying if we lose this game Sparano needs to be fired because we need to make decisions for our future now moving forward, and that cannot be done with integrity from the current regime, but I don't claim to know what the right move is to show our future coach respect at this point, I can see both angles.

2} My issue with the gator Tebow honoring thing in our stadium is what it would do to our fans that were in the stadium if we were to lose...I don't think the money he made off it will overcome the backlash he will receive because of it..There are some very pissed off fans because of it right now, and they don't want to know the details as to why it took place, the fact of the matter is , it was a bad idea from the get, and there was no foresight going on as to what damage could be done if the worst case scenario happened..well, the worst case scenario happened...I wouldn't be suprised if Ross loses many season ticket holders just based on this issue and the principle of it...

3} There was some very good QB play in college yesterday, and we are right in the hunt for the best prospect ever...I won't promote it, but I won't deny that the losses are ok with this team and regime..We need to move forward without them..

4} I do not like the so called swagger for which Sean Smith plays with, don't like his demeanor on the field at all, and I would look to move players like this for draft picks..He's a punk, always been a punk.

5} That running game was one of the worst games i've seen, absolutely brutal, the line is not athletic enough to get out of their own way, and keeping Columbo in the lineup is a form of felony..

6} I watched the game with no volume...Thank goodness..but I din't see any SFL signs or Tshirts, was kinda happy about that.

7} Odrick with the most pathetic sack dance I've ever seen, lol, would of said that win or loss..

8} Last week I heard Keyshawn Johnson proclaim the greatness of Parcells by saying that, look how bad we are since he left..lol..can you believe that idiot, did he forget he hired the GM and Coach...lol...That man better not show his face in miami..For how he left our team, his name should be raked thru the mud.

9}The bullfrog played a good game, that guy is a true dolphin, that penalty was downright bogus, hit was clean.

10} Odrick is not flashing to me..Con was right about that cat, great hands, static feet.

11} Daboll has a fundamental flaw by calling high risk plays that require only a few yards to get..Man are we gonna have a new fresh look next season, clean slate, lol..

12} I hope Dan marino is doing his best work in that CBS studio..He needs to be all up in Cowhers ***..literally, get right up in there Dan.

13} Not sure how I feel about our owner chit chatting with Meyer..Looked like Meyer was into the game and not about the chit chat..

14}I read thru the game thread, some good comedy in there boys...lol

15}, love this site, love the people on this site, and I ain't going nowhere..

    time to go scoutin boys..

I disagree about getting rid of Smith. I don't see why he takes so much flack from the fanbase.

I hated Parcells when he was with the Giants and Pats. Then I loved him when he came to the Jets as a coach. I was disappointed when he resigned as coach (where he makes the most impact on a team) and even more disappointed when Belichick gave the Jets the shaft. But at the end of the day, he left the Jets in much better shape than when he got there....which wasn't hard to do

That being said, he did you guys dirty. You have every right to be pissed. He made some poor choices and then slipped off into the night when the ship started sinking. He did his best to avoid any kind of accountability and I hope Miami fans never let him forget the crap job that he did.

    Deejj..

Good to know that no matter how down you are ...you still not out... as a fan...

Sparano has to go, for Sporano and the Phins sake...

This team players and coaches (other than TS), need to know that they begin playing the next game if they need a job next year... Keeping TS is not going to change the mind set of the team right now and that is the way that they have been for the last 9 games now...

Yes that is right, 9 straight games losses since last year... and the players and coaches are still walking in a fog like environment since then... its time to make a change... for the players sake...

As I have stated before, if the team would have put up the great effort, they would not be at the bottom or near the bottom of just about every statistical category...

and I am not one that wants to SFL... there are a few QBs that are worthy of 1st round draft next year and not just Luck, and we just need to grab one...

I just wish Ross does make this change to see which of our players want to have a job next year and play for that job...

Then you will see the guys who do want it, play with effort...

DJ, todays game was meaningless. I couldnt fathome why anyone would stop buying season tickets due to a promotion of a meaningless game during a meaningless season.

If we were making a playoff push or something, I'd get it. But really what difference does that promotion make in the big picture? None IMO...

Well Grid, he celebrates after mediorcre plays, while getting beat on the next, all the time, you would think he has learned a lesson, but he hasn't..Any person celebrating like he does, while sucking as bad as we do, still needs a lesson in humility..

It's not happening nearly as much as you're making it out to be... Smith was good in coverage today.

Its just that fans are taking out their anger on this topic..I was litening to the radio and its what everyone was talking about..I think you might be right though, once we get a new regime it shouldn't matter anymore, I just try to do everything possible so our fanbase doesn't continue to take hits..

He gave up a TD, couldn't recover a fumble that was right in his hands, and displayed poor tackling ability, yet celebrated after every incompletion like he is the sh^%..Just don't care for the body language..

Been saying this for a while now; the way Smith reacted to that TD he gave up was disgraceful. It was like he had just rolled into jail on Monopoly, not just given up a TD. He's a jerk, he can't cover, he can't tackle, and his hands are locked iron gates.

    He is useless.

Thats the thing though DJ... if it wasnt this thing, it'd be something else they'd be *****ing about. The fans are angry in general for obvious reasons... and will jump on whatever topic that makes itself an easy target. By the time this offseason rolls around... and/or when its time to buy/renew season tix... no one will even remember this promotion.

Nasty, I'd like to believe you, but what happened today was quite possibly a new low for this franchise, and that promotion is now a part of it, thus this day living in infamy, with that promotion attached to it...I'am sure the stories and legend will continue to grow, and we will always have a place in that history, just didn't like the choice from an owners perspective who needs to be trying to change the culture..

If I had hands as bad as he does I would be ashamed to call myself a cornerback. I know they don't have to have WR type hands but my nine year old daughter can catch better than he can. I am so ****ing tired of watching him drop interceptions. I'm sick of watching everybody on this team blow opportunities. Sometimes it happens. For these guys it's a way of life.

You can bash Smith but Davis is worse. He is the one doing all the talking and the one that gave up that big 50 yard play to who???? To top it off he stopped chasing the guy after he made the catch.

Maybe its injury to VD but Smith is the better CB this year.

You have a double standard for Smith. He gave up a touchdown when Tebow extended the play after it broke down. You can't expect cornerbacks to cover these guys forever, it's unreasonable. That ball was thrown low and basically out of bounds where only the receiver could get it anyways.

You seem to ignore the play that got them inside the red zone that Vontae Davis gave up to Matt Willis on a dig route. A scrub receiver who has NINE receptions in his career.

You want to chastise Smith allowing a three yard touchdown that was allowed because of Tebow extending the play and having perfect ball placement on that throw? And a missed opportunity for a fumble recovery? I disagree with you and I hope whoever is in the front office for Miami next year does too. Letting Smith go would be a mistake because he is one of three cornerbacks on this roster worth keeping: Davis, Smith, and Wilson.

It was a stupid idea but it was no where near as bad as some think. There were still a ton more Dolphins fans at the game. Some of them were also cheering for Tebow because they want Luck.

But when the defense was on the field, when they were winning, there was a nice loud chant going on for Miami.

MY biggest problem with Smith besides the fact that he could have the WORST hands I have ever seen...is his demeanor on the field. That thing he does when he jumps up and down with the head shaking saying NO....borders on criminal when on the next 3 plays...he loses coverage...fails to tackle...and gets run over by a RB. The next play after the HORRIBLE ensuing 3 is a pass thrown 10 yards out of bounds.... is his act again. Watch how fast he walks away after making a mistake. Reminds me on of Travis Daniels....a whole lot of gyrations....not a whole lot of plays. How bad they are playing...his ACT is infuriating

Doesn't make Davis good, though. If you want Smith gone because of his play, Davis should be gone, too.

Wanted to clarify that obviously he is more talented than Travis Daniels was but his demeanor so reminds me of him. Hoping someone....anyone can sit down with him and get his act toned down. It turns off ALOT of people when you do not contribute ANY PLAYS at all

I don't think Davis gets a pass...he has no doubt been a disappointment. Yet Smith"s act is so weak its comical
