IMO he is coaching to get fired. Maybe he and Ross work some type of compensation package if he resigns.
Sanchez doesn't throw to Santonio Holmes enough. He's killing my FF team. I don't know what the hell his problem is.
He had a TD called back by a holding penalty (which was legit - no hold and Nacho gets sacked). It was a great catch too. Holmes has been keyed on by opposing teams because Plax was MIA and Mason was just useless. Maybe after Plaxico's performance today things will loosen up for Santonio.
\ Maybe so, Dorf but the players have to play the game....Sparano didn't have the 4 drops in the 1st qtr alone by Bess and Marshall ?? Somewhere along the line, these players have to make plays. Sparano isn't the one on the field, the players are... The scheme isn't bad. The OL isn't blocking for the pass or the run. The WR, save for Hartline, can't catch the ball. The D plays a so-so game, then lets them march up and down the field in the last 5 minutes...that's Sparano's fault ?? The staff came from Parcells...not Sparano. Sparano is the guy that will get fired, all right, but the poor play isn't all his fault... And let's not forget about Ross. First he has the league take away our home field advantage with late and night games in Sept. Then he botches the Harbaugh thing. Then he thinks that JLo and Fergie's azzes will put more fans in the stadium. Ross is a bad an owner as there is in the league right now...There is so much blame to go around that perhaps Ross should move the team to LA....
All good points your right we got a lot of talent issues and the owner hasn't helped at all. I'm not all convinced that Ross doesn't fire Sparano Ireland and more to only hire in the wrong guy again. I'm just over the Dolphins anymore and quite honestly unless Ross makes the right moves for me personally this off season I'm going to seriously consider supporting another team in the future. which would be a shame but They have given me no choice
I don't think he caught that pass, but as is the norm, it was not clear that he did not catch it so the TD stood. Eh, that is how it goes when things are going badly.
