    A new low... :pity:

Of course nobody will talk about how the refs should have reviewed the play automatically. Why did Sparano even have to call a timeout to talk to them about it? Yet another example of the refs ****ing us in our own building.

I do feel bad for Tony... a little. Sure, he's a paid professional who has reached the pinnacle of coaching, here in the NFL. He is in over his head, time management a prime example of that. And now he's left to wilt for as long as it takes. As long as the Dolphins are "competitve" week in and week out, he'll stay. As long as we don't lose 62 to 7 on Sunday night, he'll stay, something akin to that anyway. As long as the players don't revolt and go all mutiny on him, he'll stay. As long as he's healthy, he'll stay. As long as it takes. Yeah I feel bad for him.

I don't feel sorry for him. He's collecting a nice check for doing nothing. He knows he is gone after this season. He probably wants Ross to can him now, pay his difference now so he can stop coming in every day and wasting his time here. He could be out looking for houses in NE now.

I'm not sure how anyone can feel bad for him.

He was essentially bought off by Ross to oversee a team that was doomed for failure before it ever started. He knew what he was getting into.

The amazing thing is that was the first TD.

Therefore, Tony had the same bad feeling that they would blow the game that most of us did.....

Not even sure if I believe this. Alsoeven if it is true, its a great way to work the refs. We should be happy about this.

WOW that's pretty bad. Good news is, you and Indy and neck-and-neck for Luck. If Manning comes back, that leaves them out.

:chuckle: I just realized this spelling conveys an entirely different meaning than the common one.

Poop Chutes vs Poop Shoots. Your spelling makes us more like flingers of poo or flinged poo rather than merely the pooper itself.

I'm not quite sure but I think it's called compassion. It's that weird feeling you get when you see a genuinely nice dude getting desperate, or so I am told. I'm led to believe it isn't rational, either.

The man should have been fired last offseason. He's a walking dead coach when the season started and knowing it's blatant that he's gone in the following weeks. But hey, for the SFLuckers, we all want to have Sparano to hang around a bit longer. Overall, he's not a "conservative" coach, he's a coward and a hypocritical one as well.

At this point, I suspect he's fishing for media circus to get him fired. If he quits, he doesn't get paid. Gotta force Ross to fire him, that's his plan.

Especially after the Betrayal with harbaugh.

With all due respect to Tony Sparano, he knew what he was signing up for this season.

The only way I could have compassion toward him is if he were told by Ross/Ireland that he would be getting a QB in the offseason, or would be getting something talent-wise, and then he never got it.

    I wouldn't say 'nothing'. He's still logging 120 hours a week.

If nothing else, the man has pride, gives a damn and puts his soul into what he's doing.

Do we know that? I have a hard time believing any of that stuff regarding who wanted who. The reality is though, if your QBs in today's NFL are Chad Henne and Matt Moore, you can't really expect to win much.

    the poor house
As a long time dolphin fan it makes me sick to the stomach to see that we cant score more then 14 points . Hell Ray Lucas had more touchdowns in one game then Matt Moore has in 4 games . THIS SEASON MAKES THE 04 SEASON LOOK LIKE A PICNIC. here is what Miami 's problem is; first we had a season where we won the the afc east when pundits say well but tom brady was injured , in which many dolphin fans got to jumping on the Sparano Bandwagon and they thought we were much better then what we really were.Next our team really stuggled in Sparano's first season but he went 7-9 in the two seasons afterwards and now we are at the 1- 15 or winless record again. If we had drafted playmakers instead of olinemen and drafted the olinemen in the later rounds I dont think we are in this position.I think Ireland left Sparano hung out to dry so here is another problem. Ross should have wentahead and pulled the trigger and gave Cowher the control but its all hine sight .i think its bad when a coach has to beg for a replay and Ross should go ahead and pull the trigger and let Nolan be the interim for the rest of the season.

he got an offensive line that didn't fit the scheme of our offense instead. At least the Cowboys had it right in the offseason when they blew out their large and slow offensive linemen in favor of quicker guys who could get out in space. We brought Daboll and Reggie Bush here... square peg... round hole...
