From being completely irrelevant in Buffalo, this is a guy that's starting to contribute in a top defense. In just 3 games, this guy has 3 sacks and 3 forced fumbles. I can't wait until next year until he has a year of our complicated defense under his belt, gains some weight, and has a go-to move. It looks like the Jets might have found a pass rusher, and Rex Ryan deserves some credit. Oh no, see, you cannot make it in the NFL with "just one move" Don't hold your breath on that "learns the complicated Defense" thing though
And I don't consider the Jets to be a top defense. Look at what Dallas, Oakland and NE did to them. Shutting down Jacksonville and Miami is nothing to brag about (no offense). The only game they have somewhat impressed me in is San Diego and that was more on Rivers.
You're not even a Jets fan. It's also CLEARLY obvious that you kiss up to these fans around here just so they don't bash you. It's CLEARLY obvious.
"Uhhh, son. I been a Jets fan longer than you have been born. I seen Klecko and Namath up front." Here comes the bull**** speech.
Sometimes I think you are right because most of the ones I run across on forums are complete ****ing idiots. You carry the torch with pride.
Really? Just stop....Maybin sucks, thats why he is a situational player. And you wonder why you get blasted on here.
Maybin has been put in the right spots with the Jets, I wouldn't say he is a starter, but as a spot pass rusher he has looked better than he has since in the NFL.
Exactly, which is my point with him, and really any of the DE/OLB scrap heap guys, they are purpose built, not great all around football players. And yet, square peg meets round hole and they are asked to do things outside of their strengths and of course, they fail, the idea is to put guys in positions to suceed. One move? So what? It's like a good fastball, don't muck it up with a crappy curveball, just use your strength until you learn how to do other things, meanwhile the team benefits from the production.
