Yet another very rough week for much good news but there was some, as there always will be. The team did not quit, and played hard. The D was great until the "prevent." Big Jake is looking more like himself, no sacks. Cog played his best game, no sacks, hits, or pressures. Matt Moore played well, in spite of the drops. Charles Clay had a great 31 yard catch. Dansby was everywhere, 9 tackles, 2 pressures, good coverage. Wake was back to himself with 2 sacks, 2 hits, and 3 pressures. Soliai had his best game with 3 tackles, 2 assists, and collapsing the middle. Odrick showed what we've been looking for wit 1 sack, 1, hit, and 2 pressures. Finally, the end result of the loss to Divine Intervention "may" be something good down the line.
I know Marlon Moore dropped that onside kick, but I must say he has been more impressive than Wallace this year. He always seems to be flying down the field on special teams and just seems excited to be playing football. I bet Moore takes Wallace's roster spot next year and that is coming from someone who wanted Wallace more than Moore at the beginning of the season.
Our team showed that they are capable of pulling off meltdowns of Biblical proportions even against seemingly inferior teams. Gives me hope for our season outlook.
The waterboy was right there when we needed him and he didn't drop one cup. No hits, no pressures, and no sacks, good footwork. No need to look for free agent waterboys, Dallas you can keep yours!
I thought he was a little late on one timeout. That could be a coaching issue though, as many timeouts come at very unexpected times.
Paul Solai looked like he actually wanted to play football for his first time.. Ybell played well, except for the 2 point conversion where he was lost and did absolutely nothing constructive on the play.. Cam Wake did not deserve the criticism he has received this year..He's our 2nd best player. Were in the hunt for Andrew Luck.... There's reports that good head coaches are interested in our franchise...Thank you Don Shula. Jared Odricks game concerns me...ooops, I'am not supposed to say that, sorry SB.
LOL. I think of Odrick as a rookie who is going to have his ups and downs, same as Pouncey and Thomas. I've seen a number of good things from him with limited snaps. What concerns you?
D is playing better, Carpenter has gotten off of the snide. Thought they were not giving DTrain much to work with, we'd go two Te's, they would run blitz, we would run the ball anyway. JT got sack #2, I think one more and he passes Richard Dent.
