1 of maybe 6 mistakes he's made in his entire career thus far. Dude is unbelievable and if he was on the Dolphins, you would be on his jock too. But he's on the Jets and I'm proudly on his jock. AHHHH 24 <3
That's more where I come from. The way ESPN was portraying his game Monday really bothered me. They shape public opinion, and it's as if some of those guys didn't even try to watch the game. These are the kinds of people who voted Alan Faneca to the Pro Bowl his last few years. The laziness is what bothers me I guess.
Clyde Gates burned Revis and two other Jets Defenders. I know he didnt catch the pass because Matt Moore throws a horrible ball. BUT its not the first or the last time Revis was torched by a Speedy WR. Moss, Harvin, Ginn and now Gates have left Revis sucking wind.
And I'm sure it will happen again. No one is invincible. Great Qb's still throw interceptions. Great running backs will get tackled for a loss. Great receivers will drop a sure TD. Great left guards will give up a sack. But that doesn't make any of them any less great.
Classic... Interviewer harasses Revis about the play that shouldve been a penalty on Marshall so bad he is forced to hang up on him....lol, makes my day.
I assume you mean penalty on Revis, not Marshall. There isn't a penalty for poor route running, unless you consider a pick 6 a penalty Link to interview? -Ed- sent from my EVO 3D
http://www.twitvid.com/PB2YZ article here http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/blog/shutdown_corner/post/Darrelle-Revis-hangs-up-on-popular-radio-host-Mi?urn=nfl-wp10119 I love Revis' reaction to the question. Did the ref's through the flag? Then it wasn't a penalty. That's like saying since the police didn't catch me, it's not illegal.
Could listen to this all night, nice to see a media figure not intimidated by the player or his network...it was a penalty revis got away with it end of story.
You don't know **** about football, and I'd bet everything I got that you never played organized football. FYI, the interview was with Fatcessa, a beloved Giants fan and is known for hating the Jets. Darrelle Revis KNOWS it was not a flag, and he's better than every CB you guys have COMBINED!!
If you wanna talk about Revis' greatness, talk about that pass deflection he had earlier, before the pick. I thought Marshall would have that one but Revis used ninja like reflexes to bat it away. I cant find the replay so I cant link it but to me that was the most impressive play he made of the night.
1. You mentioned this in another thread. 2. You repeat the same thing ad nauseam. Please - give it a rest. This is a Miami forum and you've made your point. Seriously.

The QBR against Revis this year is a paltry 2.2. The next closest is in the fifties. Fun fact #2- Revis has more returned yards than allowed yards. 184-127. ProFootbalFocus ProFootballFocus.com QB rating when targeting Revis' coverage went DOWN this week. QBs now have a 2.2 rating when throwing at him through 7 wks.
Fun fact #3 I'm gonna prove to you why Wilfork is better than Revis by using the return yards by weight, divided by pass defended scale and also that VW has a better int percentage. Wilfork 47 x 325/3 = 5091 2/3 = 66% INT ratio to pass defends. Revis 186 x 198/9 = 4092 4/9= 44% by my calculations, VW bus pound for pound, its a better player then Revis case closed.
