Can we stop picking on Wilson? Pretty please? He hasn't played great today by any means but that was a perfectly thrown fade that neither Vontae Davis nor Sean Smith would have covered better, either.

Every time Tony takes a knee it sums him up. lol. He could be 0-15 in the 16th game, sure to be fired, trailing by 35 before halftime and nothing to lose... and he'd take a knee.

He won't stop quitting.

 

Eli has made some pretty brilliant passes today, and that one was right up there. Neither Smith nor Davis would have been able to stop it.

Lots of people have been asking to see Wilson on the field ... he's a rookie so there are bound to be some ups and downs with him.

 

I expect the G-men to come out after half time chucking the pig

 

I like Wilson a lot. Looks to make the big play, DOES defend a lot of passes well, and occasional lapses. As a rookie. He'll only get better.

 

James Brown would make a really ugly woman.

 

Very true. And Nolan has him give the WR a huge cushion, too. Makes the kid look bad when Manning completes a comeback or out, but what's Wilson supposed to do when the coverage dictates him to not get beaten over the top?

 

The Giants don't pick on Wilson. They pick on a DC who's afraid his CB will be beaten over the top and thus has him play with a cushion the size of New Jersey. Victor Cruz would abuse Revis and Aso both in double doverage if they had to play with that sort of cushion.

 

Giants should throw to TEs.

Cardinals-24, Ravens-6. Rams-10, Saints-0 Rams at Goal Line. Vikings-14, Panthers-14. Indy is getting crushed.

 

These weeks....are such a WIN/WIN experience as a fan of the team, and this franchise.

I root for a WIN so they secure a minimum 1-15 season.....but if it doesnt come, I know we are setting up decent draft options to help this Franchise further down the line.

Wins are fun, and the Loss sucks but sets us up nicely too.

bottomline, my rooting interest either way has no bearing on the outcome...its up to the Team to secure the WIN....otherwise the Team is securing the better draft slot.

 

Vendigo, the 'play not to lose' mentality comes from Sparano and has permeated the mentality of the entire coaching staff at this point. After Rashad Jones giving up all those big plays, we've decided we'd rather conced the little plays since we don't trust our deep help.

Problem is... in the REDZONE a cushion = a touchdown.

 

I'm not sure this organization deserves Andrew Luck, even if they get the #1 pick. I'd hate to see Luck have an 'Archie Manning' career trapped in a piss poor organization.

Indy isn't going to win this season. We might as well pick up a win to avoid 0-16 because we won't hold the #1 pick anyway.

 

If Peyton doesn't come back and all indications are that he won't, I don't know if Indy wins a game. I mean they get thrashed by teams. We blow it in the last 5 minutes. Eventually we'll run into a team that loses it for us. The Colts needs teams to literally (my best Rob Lowe Parks & Rec voice) to not show up.

SFL trai will gain steam now. Our staff is usually not good at in-game adjustments. We get outcoached at halftime AND on the sidelines... so I expect the momentum to sway to the Giants this half.
