none of the other QB's are good enough to make me care. barkley isn't even going to declare this year. weeden is old. jones has major flaws, he's a raw talent....... we might reach big time and get burned simply because we "need" a QB with the #2 or #3 overall pick.
Thats a good way to look at it because like I said in another thread. Luck's dad did not seem all too happy about fans wanting to SFL.
on the plus side you can see what a good QB will be able to do with this offense. moore isn't good, but look at him these past few weeks. scoring multiple TD's every week.
Weeden is ready to play though. He can give a franchise 7-8 seasons of excellent Qb play. Barkley is another one who could be just as good as Luck with the right team
We're 0-7, with back to back close loses, we finally are on the brink of breaking through and I'm reading this bull**** about "oh gosh, now we won't get Luck" WTF? We have a huge thread were you can mope, whine, cry, proclaim him the "best Qb EVAH!" Could you like, not ruin the nice buzz from a win finally?
I was thinking that same thing myself. If Luck's family has been watching Indy they should be disgusted with the franchise. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if Manning demands a trade if they Colts throw the season for Luck.
Funny how everyone SFL'ers included LOL said we have to draft a QB in the first round. Now it is going to happen and that same crowd is butt hurt because it possibly won't be Luck. Ridiculous.....
i know i know either way i look at it this season is a hard pill to swallow im gunna wear my jersey, go out tonight and be happy next season better not be a bust though. and i want a franchise QB with a coachin staff not missing large chunks of their brain.
Winning beats losing. We haven't felt the joy of a victory in 10 freaking games and people worried about Luck. We were on the best 0-7 teams I have ever seen. Leading most of the games we lost and playing with a ton of injuries. As much as Sparano deserves to be hated, you have to give the man credit for keeping this imploding team focused. Congrats to Tony and the team.
Chiefs fans are taking it up the bum. That team gave them so much hope, and now they do this vs a winless team. haha
It's week 8 Ronin. Why are you even here if this win is meaningless? Why not ignore the rest of the season and start paying attention week 16 to see if we suck enough to draft Dan Marino JR?
