There was an article in todays herald saying Manning might do just that. BUT Manning is due something like a 28 million dollars next season so the Colts might be dying to trade him....

Doesn't matter what you hope or what anyone else hopes. Sparano is still the coach and Ireland is still the GM. In all proability they are both gone at the end of the season. Simply because the media and fans want us to tank the season to faciliate a hopeless race to garner a #1 overall doesn't mean that the veterans on this team or the coaching staff has no pride left. If you don't like that, then I suggest you stop watching them, cause we will win more games. This team stinks, but isn't the type of team that is going to get blown out every week like Indy. In fact, we could EASILY be 4-4 at this point, whereas Indy has had no chance all season.

Exactly, I care more about the Institution then any Qb prospect, no matter who good the lions may wind up being the stink from 0-16 is still right there.
You're focusing on this season. This season is DEAD. I want the Dolphins to be good next year, and for many years after that. Andrew Luck is the best chance at that opportunity in the 2012 Draft. This win probably squanders the chance to select him without giving up multiple picks/players that could still aid this team in the future. I don't see why more people don't understand this concept.
Chiefs fans have all been really nice today. Solid stadium experience today. And a win! I'll have more thoughts when I am not on my phone.
