Matt Moore might be a bad QB, but he is better than Henne.

I'm not debating the two. Strictly speaking on Moore.

    i'll repeat myself.

Moore is doing just as well or better than Henne, even though Henne has been in Miami for 3-4 years and took all the 1st team reps and practices, while Moore just signed this off-season as a backup.

to me, i watch Moore and i see a below average QB who has confidence and makes big throws every now and then. he has a spark in him.

henne couldn't create a spark if he wore socks and ran around a carpet filled room.

It looks like Moore could have a shot at being a Ryan Fitzpatrick type. Not a top tier QB but not a bad one either. Of course he has to show a lot more consistency to be that.

Pointless post serving no purpose.Sorry but this only serves to antagonize. It certainly isnt fact and its irelevant.

If Henne want hurt and we were flip flopping qbs there would be a point but neither will be the qb next year so it it useless to debate something that is meaningless.

Sorry just kinda irks me that we are 1-3 with Moore and 0-4 with Henne and one loss credited to henne, moore played as well. point is why keep taking pot shots at henne for no good reason is idiotic to me. it s petty IMO

And while Henne was learning the new offense brought in by first year offensive coordinator, back up quarterback Matt Moore was photograped busy at practice

Has Henne ever thrown for 3 TDs?

Fact we're debating Moore vs Henne shows how bad Henne is. He's done, garbage. Next.

Nope, the last QB to do that was Pennington against the Chiefs.

So the problem is that Henne does not play against the CHiefs

I'm not gonna read the rest of this thread, too busy having a great time and celebrating. However, with his 3 TDs today, Moore has 4 in 5 games. Henne had 4 in his 3 games.

If ya wanna rain on parades with pointless nonsense, at least pretend to know something by clicking on to ESPN.com (it's a sports network which gives out player stats, and it is free) before typing more nonsense.

    HORRIBLE thread, with worse timing.

Wow... It can never be proven, but I'm sure that Henne has as good or better a day than Moore. Moore is nothing more than a less than average backup. Henne is probably a good backup. Total disagreement here...not even close...

No sir, Henne's "best" day was two passing Td's, he never had a 146 QBR either.

But Henne's game was more operate the offense and be tough, only this yr did he start hitting stuff down the field consistently.

Wouldn't say that, will say there is a danger in thinking because one guy was bad, the one who replaces him is clearly better and the "answer".

Henne has never had a day as good as this.

He's never thrown for 3 TDs in one game.

    3 INT's however is a different matter ;)

Refer to week 1 against the Patriots please. Take into account the TD pass dropped by Marshall and the circimstances behind Henne's interceptions.

Difference is the touch passing and the formations Miami is using. Were using intermediate yardage personnel, a large line, and a traditional offense QB where he excels.

When you're angry you feel like you lost Luck make a post ****ting on Henne. I'm pretty sure the organization is going to move on from Henne and he won't be playing again this year so this **** is like crying over spilled milk.

Everybody executed their assignments today, including Moore, who had time to throw. With time to throw, Henne might have won, too. Where everybody was taking pratfalls and doing the butterfingers act before today, all of a sudden everybody started executing today and the plays began to work. Not just executing, but doing it together. Even Columbo was blocking. I cannot fathom what happened, or why today. Maybe the solution came out of Hialeah; some powerful Babalawo found the right spell and the evil spirit that was making everything go wrong fled. Wonder how many chickens and goats had to die for today to happen. I will be very interested to see whether they can continue to execute.

    Three things happened.

    2. The Oline is finally gelling.
    3. Reggie is getting his groove on.

LOL are you looking in a mirror and asking that question? I am not the one that brought henne into this. Bringing him up was stupid and makes no sense other than to take a pot shot, an unfounded, unnecessary pot shot. I wont debate henne and moore. It is pointless, Henne has no shot of playing for us this year again so it is a moot point.

So I am not debating unprovable poionts simply because I cant be proven wron

I am happy that as a team we fought for 4 quarters and won decisively. I am happy that the d line got consistent pressure. I loved teh fire Marshall showed, the determination, I loved Bush desire and drive. I loved Moore being aggressive and accuarte. I loved Jimmy Wilson not being afraid of mistakes and was aggressive. I loved that the DOLPHINS never gave up and won emphatically.

I dont like that people still want to bring Henne into discussions that serve no purpose. Henne is no longer teh Dolphins qb, he is done here, so move on instead of drudging up pointless debates, Henne era is over

    They play harder for Moore.

Henne has lost the lockerroom and the players.

    :D

We can all analyze his INT's but if you keep analyzing it, guess what, it's likely you're going to keep analyzing them. After several dozen INT's that "aren't his fault" I'm going to assume he's responsible in some way

That defense has responded. Miami is currently 12th in the league in points allowed. If they make just a couple changes they'll break into the top ten. That is astounding.

Moore threw some balloon passes that were caught today.

I'm happy we won, but he was anything but something to write home about.
