penalties aren't reviewable. but say a guy is pass interfered, yet catches a td, so they decline the penalty. but then they over turn the td. what happens? you can illegal contact a wr when the qb goes out of the pocket? i thought it was only if the ball is tipped.
no, out of the pocket. but they over ruled the TD because Gronk had a penalty for ineligible receiver.
That's the question....I think the pats choose too decline the penalty, thus killing it when they accepted the TD....not sure though...
but they accepted it based on the call on the field. so if the call is overturned, shouldnt that give them the option to make the decision again based on the new call?

Well, fwiw, I despise the Jests, but the pats mauling them is not a good sign for the rest of the AFCE, make no mistake about that one, though the pats blew them out last yr and the Jets bounced back to beat them when it mattered.
