if we beat Dallas... 9-7!!! and im serious! Eagles are vickless NE might be mailing it in at the end of the season and quite frankly even if they dont, beating them isnt out of the question. Jets is week 17 and we will be very fired up for that game it is big rivalry and playoff inplications for either team may be on the line
7-9 or 8-8. These guys are having fun, playing as a team, and playing with a serious f*** all mentality.
I think we do have a good shot at beating Dallas and although I would LOVE us to win out and go 9-7 on the year, I think the best we can hope for is 8-8....my original preseason prediction.....just different games won
my expectation is 5-11 until I see a win against a strong team...and the opportunity is there in the last 6 games
I didn't think Miami would this past week and they did. I don't see them pulling off the upset Thursday either. Hosted, it's pretty clear that you can score points and hang around with Dallas, so long as you hold down DeMarco Murray. If Miami beats Dallas, I can see 7-9, but I believe they'll end up 6-10. It will be interested to see how they play after they lose a game. Right now, things are awesome, but throw a little adversity their way--who knows.
Miami wins out and finishes 9-7 The Pasts win three of their remaining games (Colts, KC, Redskins) to finish 9-7. The Jills win one more this season...against the Pasts in order to finish 6-10. The Jests win 3 more this season (Jills, Skins, KC) and finish 8-8. Miami finishes 4-2 in the division. Pasts finish 3-3 in the division. Miami wins the division and gets into the playoffs...makes a run and wins the Super Bowl. *snore* *hmmph* Who pinched me? I was having a great dream!
something just good enough to not land a top 5 QB and something just bad wnough to keep us out of the playoffs.
I say at least 7-9, and if we beat Dallas, I say we might roll to 9-7... I'd love to see the Dolphins become the Dilfer-led Ravens!
Honestly, I think if we play the rest of the games like we did yesterday, we can beat anyone. That said, I just don't see us running the table. I think we upset Dallas this week, and beat Oakland at home ten days later. If Philly plays us like they played NYG last night, that could be a problem. Then you've got three divisional games in a row to end the season (two away and one at home). And, at least two of those teams look to be playing for the division. So, I think 6-10 or 7-9 seems about right. As lmeister3 said:
Just beat the Jets and Bills and I am happy. Throw in our annual win against the Raiders and I think we have ourselves a 6-10 "salvaged" season. I can see us toppling the Cowboys to reach 7-9, but reaching .500 or beyond is going to be pretty close to impossible. I will say this though, if they DO go 9-7, Sparano has to be a candidate for coach of the year. I am dead serious. And how wild would it be to have him win that AND get fired? Meh. Mike McCarthy has it locked up already though.
If they make it the "Coach of the Half Year"? Yeah, fine. You can't lose seven games straight to start the season and then turn it around when it is too late to have any real shot at the playoffs and expect it to save your job. With a third losing season, Sparano has earned his walking papers. I expect to see the Phins finish out at 6-10 BTW, and draft around #12. Too far back for a franchise-type QB in this draft.
5-11...they'll beat the jets and maybe philly...buffalo as much as they are terrible will be a tough game IN buffalo in the cold, always is...i agree with most here, I want to see them play against dallas this week...see what happens there...of course, they lose and it will be becaus they had a short week..not because we've beaten 3 morbidly horrible teams the last 3 weeks
