No.... Matt Moore is our saviour... he beat KC, Washington, and Buffalo... didnt you know??

He left the game on the field today. point blank. Defenders will say, D had a chance to stop them, and sure thats true, but if Moore didnt leave the plays on the field to win this game, the D wouldn't have been in that position. You're right, Henne bashers would want him cut for this one, but its Moore, so its probably OK with most for now... wait till it happens a few more times, because he's just not good enough like Henne... and the story will change... Itll just take time.

Correct. It was a bad snap and our turnstile RT lets Ware blow right by him.

MMoore did need to be more effcient, I thought he played a solid game, but he could have done better.

A part of that was, back to back long plays to BH and BM, then we did not even try to do that again.

This loss is not on Moore. This is a team loss. You can't put the entire game on him when other players messed up, too.

I don't care how good the team looked AT TIMES in the game...that means nothing. If the defense can't stop the other team when it counts, when the game is on the line, then they didn't play a good game. If the offense can't get a first down when the game is on the line, if they can't execute well enough to receive a freaking snap without fumbling, then they didn't play a good game. There is no one connected with this team that deserves to have a guaranteed job next season.

Why a coach would be conservative when you have only three wins on the season boggles me. I would be going for the endzone any chance I had if I was within the 10. What do you have to lose really?

The real damage was no more shotgun snaps afterwards, and that hurt the offense.

That snap that led to the turnover was a bullet that went wide to the left. It wasn't like it was a routine snap that Moore just screwed up. Matt Moore did leave some plays on the field no doubt. He was a little inaccurate at times which hurt him. It also hurt that Tony Romo's passes were magically finding their way to receiver's no matter what. On the last one he was blindsided and his arm was hit and it somehow didn't go off target. That just disgusted me.

Hmm, no, I don't think so, the snap was high and to the left, Griese was explaining what happened on the radio call.

Moore may not be a starter, but hes is 200% times better than anything Henne has brought to this team.

The problem I had with Moore was him not reading blitzes or throwing into coverage...it was out and out just terrible accuracy all afternoon. He not only missed throws...but missed them badly

the last pass to bess (behind him) is the play that probably lost the game - the clock stays running and we maintain the ball.

That has been the same problem with the Dolphins for the last three seasons. They play teams tough, but against the better teams, they find a way to lose and not win the game. In tight games the Dolphins on defense, and offense, as well as the coaching staff, are just not mentally tough enough to get the job done.

I don't know it thats the difference. Some good play action was needed as well.

You still have to offer up better than Reggie Bush. Daniel Thomas (a guy we traded up for!) isn't getting anything done and he's likely to finish his rookie season without having a single score. ThIs isn't the Packers, and this Dolphins team isn't going to win games unless they can get some rushing TDs. They certainly can't sit on a lead without the ability to drain the clock. That's on Sparano an Ireland more than it is the Cowboys.

It was not a good snap. Was it possible to handle it, yes. But it was a bad snap. I suspect Moore was trying to survey the defense and didn't expect the ball to be fired over his left shoulder.

It hit his hands. Obviously it was a bad snap, but it still should have been handled.

Something like that, we forget Pouncey is a Rook Center going up against a pro bowl NG and they ask him to pull on run plays, mistakes happen.

Cost us badly in this one though.

    heunity to win late in

true , however we also had the opportunity to win on offense and defense late in the game but didn't and of course coaching also plays into it , imo.

the one thing i dont like about moore is he has tunnel vision - if his 1st read isnt open he panics - he doesnt read the whole field. example in the 3rd throws into double coverage to marshal (what else is new) and bess is running free in the secondary with no one around him, gotta be able to see that. the bad part was bess was basically behind marshal right in his line of sight

Well the snap could be two feet over his head and still go 'through his hands' as he attempts to handle it. Just because he got his hands over there doesn't change the fact that it's a bad snap. He was probably looking elsewhere just assuming the snap would come in towards his waist and not over his left shoulder.

Moore made some nice plays, but he definitely made a handful of bad ones that were very costly. He's got to get that snap. It hit him in the hands. At the least, he's got to cover the football and allow for a punt. The pass he missed to Clay on that third down really hurt too. That's an easy conversion for a first and goal that very likely ends up giving us the lead with the first possession of the 2nd half.

The throw behind Bess was bad too. I also couldn't understand the throwaway on the third and 3 in the red zone in the first half. Probably could've run for the first down easy. But I can't get too mad at Matt Moore. We know what he is, which is a really good backup QB. I never thought he was the long term answer. We've seen enough of Matt Moore as an NFL quarterback to know he's not that. But he will be a good asset to have when we draft a QB this year.

The snap was bad, what hurt us was Moore not falling on the ball.

I can't get onboard with excusing QB performance against a Top 10 (just barely) defense.

Call me crazy but I want a guy who can get it done, regardless of where the defense ranks.

The thing that bothered me the most about Moore was he played so tight today...especially at the end. We are 3-7..and you play that tight? What happens when the stakes were higher? He just looked like a tight guy who never let the ball go today. At 3-7...you play with a little more abandon. Btw...Sean Smith should be thankful we are all focused on Moore, his tackling today was an atrocity

Moore made some plays to help win this game.... but he made costly plays that helped to cost us this game as well. Those plays... are the reasons why he;snot starting QB material. Whether its fumbles, taking sacks, not running, missing passes, or poor decisions... it dont matter... those are the plays that cost you games as an NFL QB...

Romo's day wouldn't have been all that great without all of the deflected passes and lobs magically finding their way to receivers. Screw him, I look forward to his and the Cowgirls' annual choke next month.

He was just plain lucky on at least two of those plays. He lobbed one to the middle of the field [think Brett Favre in the 08 opener] and in another he was blindsided as he threw, his arm was actually hit, and the ball magically stayed mostly on course. I guess it's better to be lucky than good.
