A deal has been struck. Season will begin on Christmas. Heat vs Mavs. http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/7281052/nba-owners-players-tentative-agreement
OMG you bugging? Plz don't **** with me EDIT: just read it. Great to have NBA back n the heat! No more hardwood classics on sunsport lol
Btw, am I the only one that thinks the NBA owes something to their event staff for keeping them out of work for so long?
Well, it's a good thing Mike the usher's kids haven't needed to be fed while the greed was being consolidated.
And what about all the local business owners who saw a drop in business during the lockout, the cops not getting to work extra OT by helping control the before and after event crowds, and the television/radio production workers who weren't working (or working as long) during the lockout? Just because something bad happens to you doesn't mean you deserve a handout, sometimes it's just tough luck. Not to mention that the lockout had been discussed for more than a whole season, so maybe Mike the usher should have planned ahead better.
I was referring to all these people. Like a "we're sorry our greed is bigger than all of you"... sort of thing.
Probably. Though the Heat do have a good chance for the championship. Same goes with the Mavericks, with their chance for a repeat. Highly doubt that Kidd and Terry are going to shoot like they did last season's playoffs. They basically made every shot. I wonder how does the Knicks matchup against the Heat.
