Not to be the devil's advocate, but there's also Lane Kiffin as a common denominator the past 2 years, and he does a good job getting these guys the ball, no? Barkley is still executing, so I'm not taking credit from him, but at the same time I don't want to give him too much either.

I don't know, I really like the guy but I think it would be insane to take him top 5, I think he's a project on a lot of levels. Just because someone reached on Locker doesn't make Tannehill a top ten pick to me. Who knows a lot of things can change after workouts and visits but I think the distance between Luck and Barkely (who is my 2nd choice by far) and Tannehill is huge. The guy has so little experience actually playing at a high level in college its hard to justify a top pick. I haven't read anyone that puts him that high up.

Wow. I'm kinda surprised to see Griffin so low. I don't know anything about Osweiler, other than what I've read here. He is only a junior, right?

You hit on one of my biggest fears about Tannehill. The NFL game is going to come at him fast. Awfully fast, which is why I think the more work and/or experience a QB prospect needs, the time it may take him to be ready might almost increase exponentially.

There are QBs every year that have great #s and fail in the NFL. #s mean little, its the process if those #s that we have to look at when talking about translation.

If there's one receiver I watch week in and week out and am impressed just about all the time, it's Watkins. He is special.

That's why I noted his super accuracy, near inability to throw INT's, and YPA numbers. He keeps his eyes down field, used his legs to create passing lanes, and is very accurate down the field. His timing is amazing and he tends to hit receivers in stride on slants, go's, etc. I still need to watch more of him though.

Matt Barkley finished the night 35 of 42 for 424 yards, 6 TDs and 0 INTs with a successful 2 point conversion pass. That's a 148.3 passer rating.

    Finished the season 308 of 446 (69.1%) for 3529 yards (7.91 ypa, 11.45 ypc), 39 TDs (8.74%) and 7 INTs (1.57%). That's a 115.2 passer rating.

I think Luck and Barkley go 1 and 2, someone trades up if the 2nd worst team doesn't want a Qb. We really need to be that team if we don't finish next to last.
